I had questions that I wanted answered but there was no brochure so had to ask at the front desk in front of everyone. The room was the size of a walk-in wardrobe and had 10 chairs with people queing to see the doctor - sat there staring at their phones.

I was directed to the website and made to feel stupid. I was told to fill out a disclaimer form, prove my ID and pay $75 or $95 before I had any idea what this money was actually buying. It was not clear what was expected from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out 5 mins later feeling like a fool.

When I go into a doctors practice I expect to see posters on the walls, magazines in the rack and brochures explaining stuff. Certainly, front of desk staff need to know how to handle people politely before thrusting impersonal disclaimers in their hands and announcing pricing to everýone jammed in the closet.
