Bui Vien Street Food is absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and made with so much care.

The Chân Gà Xả Tắc (chicken feet with lemongrass & kumquat) was so refreshing and zesty—perfect for starting the meal. The Bò Bía Cuốn (Asian sausage spring rolls) were super fresh and had a great crunch. I loved the Bánh Đúc Mặn Bùi Viện (savory steamed rice cake); it was soft, flavorful, and really comforting.

The Bánh Mì Chiên Chả Tôm (fried shrimp & ham bread) was crispy and satisfying, and the Bùi Viện Bún Chả Tôm Chiên Giòn (crispy fried shrimp patty vermicelli) was a huge hit—perfectly cooked and so tasty.

One of my favorites was the Ốc Hương Sốt Trứng Muối Phô Mai (Huong sea snails in cheesy salted egg sauce)—so rich and unique! We also had the Bánh Canh Cua Lột Giò Heo (soft shell crab + pork leg noodle soup), and it was hearty and delicious. Finally, the Gà Nướng Muối Ớt Miền Tây (salt & chili grilled chicken) was juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection.

Every dish was a winner, and the whole experience felt like a real street food adventure. Highly recommend coming here hungry—you’ll want to...

I could have given this place 3 stars only but since this is a new place so I added 1 more for encouragement. I have no complaint about the service, all the servers are friendly and professional. The foods however will need more improvement.

So we did ordered most of the side foods without any big portion meal. Except the snail was served on the hot pan, everything else seem like they are pre-made in order to be quickly served; therefore they were all cold down when they are on the table. Especially our grill squid was like been sitting of the side for like 30 mns. Dipping sauce was good but too dense so it's hard to dip the foods in. Let say we kinda picky but the salad should have had shrimp cracker comes along with it; you are trying to bring the Vietnamese cuisine to here so you should pay attention on small details which represent the presentation of the foods.

Overall is was a great experience. There are more place for improvement and we hope this place can stand out in the short time. Definitely recommend and we'll be back for more stuff...

4 stars for the fact that server brought out 5 small bowls for us without us asking as we have children which is the usual case... stars could be ducted if you factor that server had a lot of free time and wasnt really busy to not noticed my dish wasn't out 10-20 minutes after everyones else at the table finished eating.

Food - 5/5 - Food flavoring was on par, not overpowering and not lacking – everything was perfectly balanced and delicious. The presentation of the dishes was also excellent – a real feast for the eyes!

Service - 3/5 - Unfortunately, the service fell short of the otherwise excellent experience. While the staff was present, my order was completely forgotten. Everyone at my table had received their food, and despite the server passing by multiple times, the missing dish wasn't noticed. We ultimately had to flag down staff to inform them of the oversight.

Atmosphere - 5/5 - The atmosphere was fantastic! The decorations were very well thought out and created a truly lovely...

Absolutely loved this place! Bui Vien Street Food, which used to be Sizzle Spot, is a total gem. I chatted with the staff and told them straight up—this spot is incredible. The food, service, vibe, and music were all on point. They’ve kept the welcoming energy but seriously upgraded the menu and ambiance. I ordered the Hàu Nướng Mỡ Hành (grilled oysters with scallion oil)—fresh, flavorful, and topped with herbs and peanuts. Then came the Cá Chim Chiên (deep-fried pompano fish) served with perfectly steamed rice, crispy pickled carrots & daikon, cucumbers, lettuce, and cilantro, plus a classic fish sauce dip. You can ask for soy sauce with chilies too if that’s your style. The music system was bumping with high-vibe tracks that made the whole place feel alive and upbeat. The layout is cozy but modern, and there’s plenty of shady parking right in front—super convenient. Whether you’re coming with friends or bringing the whole family, this spot is a guaranteed win. I’m definitely coming back!

Been going to this location for many years back when it was sizzle spot. Now it’s called Bui Vien and tonight was my first time dining in. The decor is done right and an upgrade from before. It gives you vibes of Vietnam, even has the small chairs in front. The service was quick and fast and since it was a Monday night it wasn’t packed. I got the fried rice with pork and mam mam, think of it like a pizza. It was good and every bite had meat on it. We got the hu tieu go and it was good too. Just the right amount. Not many places have this dish so try it. Then I also got the beef garlic noodles. It was good, the beef was tender and the corn was a plus. The owner came and check up on us to make sure everything was good, even the staff did which was a plus. You felt welcomed and at home. Give this place a try they have a huge variety of items, you can’t go wrong.
