We still order from here regularly via DoorDash since I used to live closeby & dined in daily and tried everything from the Shrimp w/Lobster sauce , Kung Pao Chx but mostly Mongolian beef with crab cream cheese wontons and hot mustard. These guys have been around the block as far as pan-pacific quintessential wok-style cooking . You can hear it and see it from the open kitchen in front (bang ‘Clang -Clang-Clang (sizzling noises) Authentic Classical flavors, tantalizing smells…Turbo - Fast to go order speed as well ! This time we dined-in for posterity and had Mongolian Beef, Chefs Special Shrimp & Pork Fried Rice and my buddy had Lemon Chicken. A Delicately Crispy Delite with a Citrusy Lemoney glaze and in Contrast to the rich , oyster-like rich, saucy brown glaze from the Mongolian beef with green onions and combined with the pork/shrimp Chefs Special Fried Rice was not only absolutely, mouthwatering and succulent but reminded me of the trifecta of flavors that were tantamount to the old-school Chinese cuisines of the ‘80s in San Francisco CHINATOWN . Excellent Value Lunch Specials Monday - Friday. Open for dinners Saturday, Sunday & Monday evenings from 4:30 -8:30. Check ‘em out on DoorDash, regularly 20% off deals . If you would like pickup or dine -in you’ll find them off the 1400 block on The Alameda in downtown San Jose across the street from Orange Theory Gym . See you guys there!

I came here because of the great reviews. Very disappointing, first of all there's not a big selection on the menu. Your choices are only a two items, main and rice or noddle. If you crave more on your plate thats another order. I got the sweet and sour pork and fries rice for close to $9, I got mine to go and received it in a small black plastic container w. Clear top. The food was plain, nothing I can't fine at other chinese place and cheaper w. An extra item on my plate. In fact I think others have better taste. I won't make stops at this place. Maybe this place has good reviews because its surround by businesses and its a good walking distance option, or they haven't try other restaurants to know the difference... To each its own, but this place its not one...

My family ate here a number of years ago and it was really great. The big find was the Hot and Sour soup that was the best that I'd had about 30 years earlier at a restaurant in Portland that closed in the 80's. OMG it was so so good. I don't get to San Jose very often and I've been trying to come up with an excuse to get more H&S soup. Travelling from Houston to Portland, we had a 2 hour layover in San Jose. My wife asked if Uber Eats would deliver to the airport, I thought, let's see. The next day we had our soup in the terminal. It was everything we remembered. Never thought I would enjoy a layover so much. Thanks China Inn...

Ordered the below food from here a couple of days back through Uber East 1. Vegetable Fried Rice 2. Kung Pao Tofu I am going to be strictly honest here. I was highly disappointed with the quality and quantity of Vegetable Fired rice. It was not cooked properly. I tasted terrible, literally no flavors at all. I had to add all the kinds of flavors (even salt) by myself to make it edible. It costs pretty high for such low standard tasteless food. Kung Pao Tofu was just ok. One thing is for sure, I am never ordering food from here ever again.

We trusted Google maps to lead us to the nearest Chinese cuisine. We were pleased with the results! We will be returning. No MSG's left my tummy happy. I ate everything and felt energized after our meal. The dining area is small, seating a dozen people or so. We took our meal to go and plated it at home 10 minutes later. The pictures say 1000 words! My tummy says thank you. The staff was abundant and friendly. Our meal of three dishes took 10 minutes to complete. Thank you China Inn.

We have a new spot for Chinese food! The food here was delicious! They have No MSG proudly posted on their menu and you can tell by the way you don't feel bloated after. MSG stands for Mono Sodium Glutamate. Sodium is salt, and salt makes you retain water for bloating. The food was very good and expertly seasoned!
