Read moreI came here because of the great reviews. Very disappointing, first of all there's not a big selection on the menu. Your choices are only a two items, main and rice or noddle. If you crave more on your plate thats another order. I got the sweet and sour pork and fries rice for close to $9, I got mine to go and received it in a small black plastic container w. Clear top. The food was plain, nothing I can't fine at other chinese place and cheaper w. An extra item on my plate. In fact I think others have better taste. I won't make stops at this place. Maybe this place has good reviews because its surround by businesses and its a good walking distance option, or they haven't try other restaurants to know the difference... To each its own, but this place its not one...
Read moreMy family ate here a number of years ago and it was really great. The big find was the Hot and Sour soup that was the best that I'd had about 30 years earlier at a restaurant in Portland that closed in the 80's. OMG it was so so good. I don't get to San Jose very often and I've been trying to come up with an excuse to get more H&S soup. Travelling from Houston to Portland, we had a 2 hour layover in San Jose. My wife asked if Uber Eats would deliver to the airport, I thought, let's see. The next day we had our soup in the terminal. It was everything we remembered. Never thought I would enjoy a layover so much. Thanks China Inn...
