Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in San Jose

Worst experience ever. I will be calling corporate for the rudest worker I have ever dealt with, his name is Jose Martinez and I will also be asking for the owner to discuss his rude behavior.

We ordered a pizza and it was suppose to be 1/2 cheese 1/2 Pepperoni and olive. Order was delivered and the cheese side had olives, which my son can't eat, he literally will throw up. I spoke to "Sock" who supposedly is the manager and he agreed to send a replacement in 20 min, which it was 7:50 pm so it should have been here at 8:10. I got side tracked and my wife asked where my son's pizza was, so I called back, this is when it went downhill...

I spoke to Jose and said Sock was not available, so I began to explain. He asked for my name to look up my order and had a difficult time finding it, Sock had the same experience. When he found it I tried to explain the my replacement pizza wasn't here, but he kept cutting me off. Said I have the pizza and he's trying to prevent scammers and I had my pizza. When I tried to explain about the replacement (took several attempts, since he kept cutting me off) he said you have 2 pizzas, why can't your kid just eat one of those. He then started saying it's been over 3 hours why didn't you complain earlier. End results I couldn't handle his rude communications and hung up.

I eat out a ton and order all the time, I have never had a discussion this bad in possibly 10+ years. Jose should be fired! I will be writing to corporate as well about this person's rude behavior. Sadly my 11 year old son still hasn't eaten at 9:24, since he was looking forward to the pizza! This really gives a bad reputation to this store...

I had my girlfriend order some pizza and wings to be delivered to my shop. When the driver, Arun, finally got there he handed me the pizza and dropped the wings on the ground. He kept apologizing and following me into my shop. To stop from getting angry, I told him it's fine and if he could please leave. He stayed there apologizing for another while until I just walked off. I asked my girlfriend to call them back and have the wings removed from the order because we just threw them out. I mean, even thow they were wrapped in foil, the box opend and the foil was on the ground. There were like 5 people out there and I have a security system that recorded the whole thing. When my girlfriend called the store she spoke to the manager on duty, James, who told her the driver said he did not drop the wings then that the actual wings never came out of the box. My girlfriend ws not there so she couldn't really dispute what the driver was saying. It was an especially busy day for me that day so I didn't call the shop back. I called two days later unly for James to tell me that I called to late and all he could do was give me credit for some wings. I don't want anything from that store or anything to do with them and papa John's now. Please stay away from this place discusting...

The shear ineptitude of this location is unfathomable. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION.

I ordered a pizza and cheese sticks to be delivered and it took about 3 hours for the food to be delivered. (Ordered the food at 6:36 PM and it finally arrived around 9:20 PM) I initially waited about 90 minutes before calling at 8:01 PM to inquire about the status of the delivery and was told it would only be another 10 minutes--a blatant lie.

After waiting about another hour I called at 8:53 to cancel the order. I was told that the pizza was being delivered and that i would be credited a large pizza against my phone number. I called two days later to order a large pizza and they had no record of the pizza credit on file. What is sad is that the assistant manager was the employee who fielded my final phone call.

Dealing with this locations was so frustrating it's almost comical how bad it was made by an overwhelmed staff.
