My girlfriend and I came in to grab some coffee and food before heading out to work. Saw a lot of great reviews so thought we’d give it a try. Coffee was not good - it just tasted burnt. Whatever - no big deal. However, we also ordered a breakfast burrito, and that’s why I’m writing this review. It was taking awhile for them to make it, so I went up to check for an update. Well…it took a long time because the manager was too busy talking to a friend of hers that was in town. When I came up to her to ask her nicely if our burrito was ready, she gave me a dirty look as if I was an annoyance. My bad - so sorry that your little friend was in town and that you didn’t take the day off to hang with her. Anyways, she made the burrito - and burnt it by the way, and just threw it on the tray with that same dirty look. I didn’t even bother saying anything…wasn’t worth it since she obviously cares more about talking to her friend than running a business. Definitely won’t be coming back.
Shoutout and props to the poor kid working the register AND making the coffee while the manager was hanging with her friend instead of working. Hey manager, next time take the day off next time so you don’t have to ruin other...
Read moreWow, not sure what happened here since they have great reviews. Was expecting something like Blue Bottle or The Verve. Short walk after breakfast at The Breakfast Club nearby. Place was pretty empty, and it took awhile for one employee to appear. The cappucino took less than 10 seconds from order, very fast. Was concerned that the plastic gallon jug of whole milk was less than half full, and looking puffy. Wanted to order cake or pastry but after seeing the few in the display looking old and crusty, decided to pass. Should have passed on the coffee too. It was horribly bitter and sour. I could not continue drinking after forcing a couple of sips. Stomach did get a little bloat, which happens when the whole milk isn't the freshest. First table we sat at was covered in grease. It seems like they share the space with a fish n...
Read moreUpon arriving at Crema, we ordered 2 drinks and went on a search to plug in our laptops to work for about an hour. We admired the fact that we could stay here and get coffee and then work and get dinner as well along with a glass of wine later through the attached restaurant. We had a hard time finding an outlet until we found one outside next to the space heater. We started working and were approached by one of the employees. “We can’t allow you to plug in your laptop due to safety concerns. Sorry about that.” Astonished, we unplugged and got only enough work done until our laptops died. We left without buying dinner, and without purchasing any wine. Shame. They missed out on extra business. Certainly won’t be coming back, and I can’t recommend to anyone who wants a nice environment with...
