4 of us came for breakfast for the 1st time. They weren't very busy even though there was a fantasy animate convention going on. Their menu is kind of limited. Their buffet was $40/pp but we decided to do ala Carte instead. Coffee was good but the creamer cup had a dried ring in it so when we poured the creamer, it had dried creamer floating on top of the coffee. I mentioned it to the hostess or manager so the busboy changed the creamer & gave us fresh coffee. We had to ask the waiter 3x for our 1st glass of orange juice. My kids ordered an OJ & a lemonade a few minutes after we've already ordered. He couldn't remember lemonade & what the 2nd drink was just 30 sec after my kids ordered with him. I felt the busboy was a bit too old, slow & forgetful to do the job. I think he was in his 60s or older. I asked for my steak to be medium but it came out to be medium well (almost well). My younger son thought that his ham, bacon & cheddar omelet was a bit too salty so I gave him my eggs instead. My bf liked his egg benedit though. My bf was craving croissants but they only had 3 little buffet size croissants for $7 which was not satisfying for him especially compared to the $5 big delicious croissant at Tartine bakery in Sf. My older son was ok with his burger except he didn't want onions. Not sure if they forgot to update their menu prices or what. My older son thought that his burger base price was $15 but it was $18 on the bill & they added $3 bacon + $3 eggs to it so his burger came out to be $24. 3 OJ was $27. I swore OJs were $5 ea (Not $9ea) on their menu. Our bill came out to be around $120 for 4 people before tips. At these extremely high prices, we expected much better quality control, service, ambience & food. We will most likely not be...

This is a restaurant located a few minutes away from the San Jose Marriott Hotel. It is a cute restaurant which is inside the Fairmont Hotel.

You do not need to be a guest at the hotel in order to eat there. I was a bit worried about this since I was a guest at the Marriott Hotel at the time of my visit. The hosts were very welcoming and I did not feel unwanted.

The waiter who served my friend and I was a nice gentleman and he served us with a smile from the time we arrived up until we left. Word of advice: it is always nice to leave a tip for this kind of service.

Recommendations: the waffle and berries seemed to be the most popular dish to have for breakfast. Therefore, I would recommend this. It does not disappoint. ALSO, the freshly squeezed orange juice is to die for!!! In fact, don't order anything else to drink...order that juice. I will boldly say that's the best orange juice in the world...if anybody else differs, please point me in the right direction.

Above all, I had a great...

My family is obsessed with Fountain restaurant for their brunch. It is nestled within the Signia by Hilton San Jose, this place offers a refined brunch experience that blends classic American dishes with French-inspired flair. The restaurant boasts a bright and airy setting, enhanced by modern white interiors with blue accents, creating an inviting and classy ambiance. The brunch menu features a variety of delectable options such as Eggs Benedict, Salmon Florentine, Avocado toast and classics like French toast, different style omelettes too. The service is great with attentive and friendly staff. It can get a little pricey but worth it for an upscale experience. It definitely provides a sophisticated brunch setting in...

This place has great ambiance and is located conveniently in the Hilton. Service was good until the end. Waited for long at the end to pay the bill with my credit card. Guess they assumed I would charge to my room. and ambiance was superb! Food needs a little help. Started with “fresh squeezed” orange juice which is definitely store bought. Tastes good but wasn’t freshly squeezed. Latte was a better choice for a hot beverage. Has great flavor. Steel cut oatmeal was ok. Fruit on top was fresh. Served with milk and syrup on the side…who uses syrup on oatmeal? My wife tried the Lobster Benedict and she said it’s a 3.5 out of 5. She would have ordered something else.
