Gateway Cafe — Restaurant in San Jose

I enjoy coming here for lunch. They have daily specials-one hot and one sandwich. Tuesdays are my favorite!! They have a Thai wrap with homemade spicy thai sauce. It's the bomb!!! It's not super spicy (unless you're super sensitive to spicy food) but has a good kick. They also have sesame chicken. I sometimes get the sesame chicken but get the Thai sauce instead. :)

Their salad dressing are really good-all homemade to my knowledge.

The service is pretty quick and the couple who runs the shop are pretty nice.

Gigi and Monica have been going to see Young and Ami for over 15 years. We have enjoyed their Tuesday Special, Sesame Chicken over Rice with a tangy sauce and Asian Coleslaw. Their Wednesday Burger Special is the best burger for your buck. The prices are very good, compared to what you would pay at any burger joint. Come and see for yourself. This place can do it all. It is so tough for a restaurant to have such a great variety of food and have all of them taste so delicious, but this place makes it look easy. The food is always fresh and has quality ingredients which I respect as someone that cares about staying healthy and fit.
