Happy Donuts — Restaurant in San Jose

This is one of my very favorite places to go in all the land. And I go to a LOT of places! This family here has been like family to me since I can remember. Not only have they served tremendously amazing doughnuts to me including ones they dot make traditionally (like vanilla old fashioned and jelly filled doughnut holes because I thought they would be amazing and I was right), but they've also served me smiles on some of my worst days which really cheered up my life more than I can say. And really, I wish I could say I'm super special for getting this treatment, but I see that same personable and warm reception to everyone that enters this shop. So I will repeat... this is one of my very favorite places to go in all the land. I love you guys!!! Thank you for everything!...

My wife swears by this place. I went in not really knowing what I wanted to order but we were helped by a woman that was very nice. My wife mentioned that she had never seen her before and she must be new. While my wife order her donuts I looked around and saw that some of the donuts can be filled with Boston cream or with raspberry jelly. I ordered myself 2 Boston cream and 1 raspberry. My wife mentioned that she didn’t know that they did that there. We took the donuts home and to our surprise they were all really good. They are made daily and it shows that they are. This donut shop was just wonderful and the staff was so sweet and kind! We are traveling from out of town and after trying and failing to get donuts from two different places (due to lack of cash/low donut stock) this tired mama was so thankful to find Happy Donuts! Not only did they have a good variety, but the prices were very reasonable! I had my toddler and infant with me and the woman helping us threw in a few donut holes for my daughter, gave me a little extra coffee, and even helped me to bring my things out to my car.
