La Burrita Food Truck — Restaurant in San Jose

this place is my go-to place when I am craving tacos. there aren't many taco trucks in the area, and I don't want to go all the way to essj.

I enjoy their quesabirria, but I think one is enough. I wish their shell was a bit crispier, but its pretty soft/soggy. It still tastes amazing though! lots of cheese so it gets filling. Consume is extra I also like their tacos as well. I especially like the tripas and lengua and cabeza. super tacos are great and filling too! it gets pretty messy bc they stuff them I love love love all their salsas. the orange one is my favorite. Their agua frescas are good too.

they are accommodating and if you tell them something is wrong or missing from your order, they will quickly fix it.

check their instagram if they have their $1 Tuesdays al pastor tacos! it is yummy and such a deal! it is cash only for these tacos but you can use card for the rest.

Parking is extremely hard because they share the same small parking lot as an auto body shop. It is literally in the corner of their parking lot. You would have to park elsewhere and walk or try your luck!

Came here on a slow day. Ordered taco plate with Al pastor tacos and the gentleman helping me was nice however when I got home I seen that the meat given was beef not Al pastor, I do not eat beef at all or cannot contaminate with my food. I mentioned to him I want Al pastor 3 times he even repeated “al pastor” however mistakes happening get it but when I started explaining the situation he starts saying “I don’t understand English” but that seems to not be the case because when he was helping me at the register he spoke pretty fluent English even when he asked “do you want a drink ” . He also wanted to just replace the beef taco I mentioned to him I need an entire new plate but he continued to act like he did not speak English all of a sudden. This place is the best. It's a taco truck next to a oil change shop but don't let that stop you from coming. What's unique about this place is their barbacoa is made with lamb which isn't a common thing. This was a huge plus for me and the reason why I keep coming back. The price is very reasonable and they offer a multitude of Mexican food. I usually get a super burrito with no rice and no beans and that always hit the spot.
