We ordered a pizza for delivery today at 8:08 pm We called @ 10 pm because we never received it. I was left on hold fir 30 min. then auto cut off. If the store had closed, there should have been a message telling me so. I called back again to be sure and was on hold again for another 30 min. Very unhappy. I paid, no pizza. First time customer to this store too. Hopefully, I will get a call back tomorrow with an apology, a refund. and a free pizza! Update: The owner refused to give me a free pizza & made me call him back about my refund. When I called him back, he said he would cancel it. He didn't cancel it in time. That day's receipts were xmitted to the bank on the 18th. When I saw it, they had already closed for the day, so I called on the 19th. I was told he wasn't there & that I would need to call between 10& 10:30 AM the next day which was Sun. I decided to wait until Mon. the 20th. Meanwhile, I rechecked @ the bank to see if a credit had been issued for the full $33.86. Nope. He got on the phone & said he already cancelled it on his side. There was no record of it. I tried to explain to him that if my bank had the info, that he hadn't cancelled it and that it was sent in. He must have cancelled it only on his side. He copped an attitude telling me that I had to speak to my bank. It could take up to 2 wks to show up. He also accused me of being dishonest. I spoke to my bank. No credit has been sent, so I had to do a merchant inquiry. This all could have been handled so easily but the owner had to act like an arse. The young woman that I spoke to both times. Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery - King Arthur's Supreme and a Gourmet Veggie. King Arthur's Supreme had maybe 3 green peppers on it total and other veggies were skimped on across the board on both pizzas. Sauce was skimped on as well.
Pizzas must've either been undercooked/overcooked or sat too long before delivery because cheese was cold and hard. Overall consistency of the pizza was poor and the slices were either tiny or huge.
In addition, delivery driver insisted upon us opening the door for the delivery despite contactless delivery being in place! This location used to be overpriced but at least the quality was decent. When I called a girl picked up trying to argue with me which was the wrong thing to do. You never argue with a customer and never try to talk over the customer. Then telling me her manager was there and when I asked to speak to the manager. She put me on hold then telling me her manager is not there but supervisor was there. 1st I tried to speak to the supervisor but took me a bit cause she was doing the same thing and not letting me talk.
