Shan Tandoori Pizza — Restaurant in San Jose

Worst service! Not going to order again from here! We placed order at 12:35 PM and the delivery time was mentioned 40mins. At 12:55 it was updated that driver is at restaurant. There was no update after that. At 1:30 called the restaurant to ask about the order, they said it is still there and there was no one to pickup at that time. The order was placed from their website -boons. They didnt have the delivery person available and pizza was ready way ahead. After calling the restaurant ,they just updated that they cannot do anything as it is not in their control. After getting call from boon the order was finally delivered at 2PM.

To top it off ,they also canceled the coke that was ordered without any notification. Only after getting the order ,called the restaurant and he just replied yes we had to cancel as it was not in stock. There was no communication that they are going to cancel...

Ordered food here over a handful of times; I always get a pizza and wings! And they’re always so delicious! My favorites are the chicken tandoori pizza and the lamb pizza! The crust is not too thin or thick, just perfect with the balance of meat, cooked veggies and fresh veggies (like tomato, cilantro, and green onions)...and of course an explosion of a mix of spices! Soooo good!

Secret tip, they have tandoori flavored wings or some Indian-flavored wings that aren’t on the menu. I ordered it the first time (when they first opened) and when I came back...realized they didn’t have it on the menu but I still order it and they always make it!

Also if you plan to order and pick up, it usually takes 20 minutes so call ahead before...

Ordered a pizza for 9, got a text at 830 it was done. Don't really want a pizza to sit in it's own grease for 30 minutes so I went early to pick it up. I don't think it's too much to ask for a pizza place to have a hot pizza at the time you requested. The food was good but the cashier was extremely confused about my order even though there were only 2 orders to pick up it still took about 5 minutes for him to just hand me the right pizza. Didn't say thank you or anything along those lines. When there's so much curry pizza in SJ sometimes it comes down to customer service and imo this is one of those times.
