Tacos Mexicanos Don Ely — Restaurant in San Jose

Tried it today for the first time 7/8 We ordered a Super Quesadilla of Asada and 3 Pastor tacos. The Asada was good, however not much meat very little being that it was a Super Quesadilla so I can imagine the meat they put on a regular size one🤔 Pastor tacos not great they were small and not enough meat on them in my opinion. I give it to them that they weren’t overly greasy, but maybe that’s why they weren’t as flavorful? In my opinion 🤔 lol maybe it’s just me and I'm just used to greasier tacos 😂 Customer service by the Lady that helped us not sure if she’s the owner or not but she wasn’t very patient with us when it came to take our order. She was more in a hurry to take our order with no line mind you then to give us time to figure out what we wanted being that it was our first time and not knowing the menu, it seemed that she got a bit irritated with that🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe it was just today unfortunately for us? Stumbled upon Don Ely’s truck while out on a walk with my family. My husband and I loved their super tacos - so fresh, great flavor & wonderful service.

A few days later we came back and asked to have them cater our daughter’s birthday. So glad they were available as their street tacos were delicious & perfect for our party!

We look forward to more family walks to their truck & to having them cater more of our parties...

2nd time having Tacos Mexicanos Don Ely cater our daughter's bday party and these tacos were the highlight of our party.
