This place is a gem in the Bay Area where cost of living is so expensive! Came across this place thanks to Google, and I’m glad I did. The owners, Jack and his wife, are so kind and hospitable. Jack and I had a great convo just about general state of things. They have been here for 30+ years, and have kept the prices as low as possible serving the tenants and others from the general public. Amazing little place. Home-owned feel, and the owners are extremely kind. They are cash only, and most customers are people who work in the plaza. Food is extremely cheap, and you can watch them make it with their oven or toaster. They have tons of sandwich options, and everything is deliciously made. I'm glad I have a place to go for lunch where I can pay $7 for chips and a homemade sandwich. Air conditioned, calm, and nice environment to eat lunch at.
