I really wanted to like this place; but I there were some fundamental problems that were just painful. I ordered the eggs benedict. When I got the order, the hollandaise sauce was white. The waitress told me that they "forgot to add the color". If you're a fan of eggs benedict, you know that "the color" is egg yolk. This tells me one of two things. One -- I got straight butter sauce (!mleh). Or two -- they were using some kind of a mix and adding food coloring. Either way, pretty disappointing. I usually order the dish because it's time consuming for me to make at home. I am not much of a complainer, so I did eat the dish. It wasn't horrible (which leans more toward the "mix" theory), but it tasted...off. I was really surprised that it was served at all. The hash browns were kind of sad and limp. The waitress left the check in the middle of our meal (which seemed odd). I couldn't read the check (there was a legitimate charge for drinks that was scrawled on there that the cashier couldn't even read. I'm fine with legitimate charges, but I need to be able to read them). My wife got a chorizo quesadilla. There were three...uh...really sad (tiny) slices of avocado on the quesadilla. It looked ridiculous. Didn't get a picture of that, unfortunately. Ah well. Anyway, I'm giving this place two stars because they were very attentive to our drinks and seemed pretty friendly. There was no rudeness or anything, and I'm not one to try to introduce it. Again, wanted to like it...but just can't recommend it. :(

Oof. I'll just vent and share my experience. First off, mimosas are served in a TINY flute and are full priced. We ordered a regular for the gentleman, a strawberry for the lady. We received two strawberries. I ordered the eggs benedict florentine because it came with spinach and tomatoes with cottage cheese. Sounds delicious. When our order arrived, the gentleman's side was the wrong order. The server mentioned they had run out of what he ordered and I suppose they thought it best to bring him something else without letting him know. Ok. My order, however, had neither tomatoes nor cottage cheese. When I mentioned my heartbreak to the server, she said that when I chose a side of hash browns, it was in place of the tomatoes and cottage cheese. I'm dumbfounded, she didn't say that when I ordered, she acted like I was also to get a side of hash browns, and of course I'm going to get those as well, what am I on, a diet? So when I mentioned also wanting the tomatoes and cottage cheese, the server brought us sliced tomatoes on a plate - like raw, for hamburger, sliced tomatoes, served on lettuce, no cottage cheese, and said "no charge." I don't mind being charged to receive what I ordered. Anyway, it's whatevs, I want to eat so I say nothing more. So then I notice while I'm eating my benedicts, that the English muffins are undercooked, and that the spinach is either previously frozen or canned. Even the hashbrowns weren't great. Womp womp. It was disappointing, I've never had a Bad Benedict. I've never had such harsh browns. The whole experience was frustrating.

It is hard not to impress me with brunch, but this place did it. I gave two stars because it is a friendly neighborhood restaurant, but I can find better for sure.

It turns out that I had been to this place before, but didn't remember it. I...

Very poorly managed by the owner . I came in for Father's day with my 2 sons. I ordered and my eggs came to me with still raw egg whites. I told the lady I have medical condition that doesn't allow me to eat eggs that's not fully cooked . The owner then took my plate and dumped it in the trash and would not make my plate of eggs over again. She was very rude to me and family on Father's day. Another waiter ask what happened i told him my eggs weren't cooked all the way and he said he couldn't redo my plate because the owner told him not to because I complained about raw egg whites. I ask for the manager and they said it was the owner/ Manager that took my plate. Very disappointed this happened on Father's day. I highly recommend nobody come to this restaurant. The attitude of the owner is horrible. She doesn't know the service industry. Very Rude owner...
