Iâm surprised why the rating is 1.4. It should be 0.5. They just wonât care if itâs 0.1 or even 0. Because people in airport who need booze donât have a choice. So tap and pour doesnât care about their service.
I was sitting at the bar. So I ordered a drink and a garlic fries. To my left, were 3 seats. two white ladies and then another white lady. Itâs been more than 5 mins I ordered fries. The white ladies next to me ordered 5 mins after me. The waiter that bought garlic fries was only looking at the white ladies and gave them the fries. Amazing how he could only see white color. I am brown. The waiter is the bald guy. Itâs October 20th today. The white ladies so proudly thought that itâs America and they are white and they are entitled and theyâll get fries in 1 min.
I told waiter I ordered fries too. They took 10 more mins. This time a white lady waiter gets the fries. Again she looks only at the 3 white ladies beside me and when they nod ânot my friesâ she leaves. So again the brown man canât possibly order fries. Then the bar waiter says a horrible âsorryâ and gets the fries. All the owners and employees of tap&pour must be ashamed of themselves and especially those working at SJC airport on...
Read moreFood was fine. Atmosphere is typical for an airport terminal. The server was awful. We were the only people there due to a very early flight. We sat at a table for four because another couple was joining us, but weâre moving more slowly through securityâŚmaybe a total of 10 minutes until they caught up to us. The server rudely said, âI told you to sit at a table for 2â so we informed her we were waiting for the other couple. After taking our order she came by three more times making snarky comments about whether the other couple was coming. Within 10 minutes, probably less, they arrived. Food was served quickly, which is always appreciated. When presenting the check and processing the credit card she asked, âwould you like to tip 18, 20, or 22 percent?â I gave 18% but should have given less. After processing the check, and with over half of the tables still empty, she made another snarky comment about needing the table. I fully understand that airports get busy and seats at restaurants need to turn quickly, but when that many tables are empty and nobody is waiting to get in, this server could have been a...
Read moreAvoid eating here. The greeter was leaning on the bar and looked at us a few times and finally pointed where we could go sit. Female waitress I donât know her name has no idea how to do her job. She seemed annoyed we dared to come in. Does she not rely on tips which I left her zero! She bought out our food and I kid you not dropped and slid our metal food trays in the table to us and walked away. Permanent scowl on her face. My wife had to go up to the bar for a refill on her coffee and when she heard this she said (to no one) âwe do refills now??â The food was definitely microwave ready and obviously airport overpriced. McDonalds may be a better breakfast choice. Something tells me the owner manager or airport could care less about how customers are treated.
This could be a San Jose issue unfortunately. Poor customer service at the Southwest Airlines desk also. We had to ask for a supervisor.
San Jose is definitely not a place we would want to visit. Just flew out of hereâŚâŚnot...
