I had high expectations for this rooftop restaurant after seeing it all over social media, but the experience was honestly terrible from start to finish.
We ordered a bottle of wine that was brought to the table already opened not even presented or poured for us. When I accidentally spilled my glass of wine, no one came over to help, even after we asked. They didn’t wipe the table, offer napkins, or acknowledge it at all.
Our food took ages to arrive, and when it finally didn’t, we were told they “didn’t understand our order” even though I was dining with a native Spanish speaker. The waiter had an attitude the entire night, never thanked us for our visit, and seemed completely uninterested in providing any sort of service.
I finally went to find the manager myself, and when she came out, she avoided all eye contact, offered no apology, and seemed more focused on brushing us off than resolving anything.
To make things worse, we were told we couldn’t split entrées or share dishes, even though we had ordered multiple plates to enjoy together. The table was never cleared, the staff was inattentive, and the overall energy felt cold and dismissive.
For the price and the reputation, this place should be offering a five-star experience not acting like they’re doing guests a favor by serving them. There are plenty of better rooftops in Puerto Rico where you’ll actually be treated with respect and get the service...
Read moreBeautiful roof top, very chill vibe. Food was great we had the burger, my boyfriend had the salmon.
Service was pretty awful, sat down and waited over 30 minutes for our app. When it finally came, food was great and hot so it’s not like it was just sitting there. The waiter didn’t come over to explain the situation, until shortly before the app was ready to come out. The excuse was “there was a large party”. There was a party of about 8 people and tons of wait staff as it was not overcrowded. The waiter brought us two shots as an apology that tasted terrible, although we appreciated the gesture.
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I asked for a little something to celebrate him which was a cheesecake with a little candle in it. Never came. Overall if you want to just come for the view and don’t mind waiting a while for food, I would recommend. If you appreciate attentive service this is not the place for you. Our bill was over $200, they tacked on an 18% service charge, this isn’t outlined anywhere which was a...
Read moreVery flashy and eclectic which makes it kitschy - golden Rolls Royce from one side, plastic flowers from another. Beautiful furniture and chandeliers and food in paper plates with plastic forks (although in sister hotel it’s regular plates).
Food is amazing as expected from Mario Pagan. He never disappoints.
It’s definitely worth seeing. Not sure if it’s worth coming back.
Wanted to update to 3 star. Since not much open besides weekend we ended there again on Tuesday.
Food was not even - tuna tartar and dumplings were great, pasta disappointing (especially for the price) - was bland and tasteless. When we wanted to order something else waitress came and said - kitchen is closed. We were never told kitchen closes at 8. There were no last call. Nothing.
Another thing - if you eat outside - prepare to not see what you are eating. Why, oh why shall people eat it in a complete darkness ? Moon light and dim pool light are absolutely not enough. We kept using phone lights to see where to...
