Di Jazz Pizzeria — Restaurant in San Juan

(RACIST, DISRESPECTFUL, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, ) Where do I begin with this one. I ordered a large 14” cheese pizza, and asked to have it to go, I was told it would be 30 min. Mind you, it was not busy at all. ( 3 people total). So anyways we wait the 30 minutes, and it wasn’t ready. So at this point I’m waiting in the restaurant and I see 3 different tables who walked in after us who have their food. I ask the cashier about the order, and she said it would be 10 more minutes. The 10 minutes pass, my friend ( she is very soft spoken) walks in and the cashier tells her they messed up the pizza and it was going to be another 30 minutes, after already waiting 45 minutes. So after my friend comes out and tells me I walk back in and ask for a manger nicely. She immediately raises her voice and refuses by saying I already told your friend that they messed up the pizza and I continue to tell her I don’t care what you told her I’m asking for a manager and she refused to call the manager. So she starts screaming. I’m not gonna get the manager if you guys don’t want to wait then we can refund it. So in the midst of us going back-and-forth the manager or the owner comes out and immediately asks what’s going on what’s happening I tell him what’s going on she still screaming and I’m just telling him we have already waited 45 minutes for pizza. She said they messed it up and we’re very hungry. We have plans today because we are tourists so we couldn’t wait another 30 minutes he says OK. That there was nothing that they could do. we get the order refunded. We walk outside to wait for our Uber and she comes outside & starts to provoke us. I tell her to go back inside and to leave us alone. Then the owner comes outside as we’re getting into our Uber and says that he has a pizza for us in two minutes. so out of all the time we waited for our pizza now all of a sudden they can make a pizza in two minutes. I was livid. I’m not gonna lie. My main complaint is on that specific waitress. I feel like she was very racist, disrespectful, and does not know how to carry her self in the workplace. I also do feel like tourist should not go there because they will be discriminated with that being said, the owner was amazing, and in all reality, that’s all I wanted was to speak to the manager. The food was great even though I ate it cold. Horrible customer service. Every other place on that street did better than that. Her name is “Olivia”, so save yourself the...

12 March: After seeing the response to my review by management I presume please send me the video that you speak of. I was very patient and matter of fact left the pizzeria and went to the corner store while my wife waited. Again I'm the customer that's what I think is wrong with alot of these establishments here! This proves my point. Yes it was close to closing when I ordered I asked the waitress if that was an issue she said not at all. So again provide me the video of false your allegations. Funny how you responsed faster to my review than the service I got that night. Word of advice have your staff talk with kitchen and each other before having someone wait double the time initially given! Was thinking about coming back but after the rude response I was given I will pass. For anyone looking at this you are better off getting a digiorno personal pizza next door at the corner store only 5 bucks and way faster service!

11 March: Ordered pizza at 1215am for takeout. Was told it would take 15 min so after 30min+ I asked what happened to my order. Was then told a door dash order was ahead of me and it would take another 15-20 min! Unacceptable I asked for my money back and was first refused but eventually got my money back. Bad business on...

$46 for a large pizza. THE MENU IS MISLEADING. For a few months now, the most bewildering thing has been happening. I usually order from the “premium” pizza toppings. What this restaurant has been doing is holding back on toppings, so if I ordered an amore carbonara pizza, they will prepare a white sauce cheese pizza with one shrimp per slice. Order an Argentinian and it has one to two Italian sausages per slice, so on and so forth.

The Argentina pizza is supposed to have chimichurri. WHERE WAS THE CHIMICHURRI? It’s been a pattern for a while and I wouldn’t call it out if it was the first time. These people need to figure out whether management is making them stingy or if they need to resupply the kitchen. Wish I could get my money back otherwise it’s false...
