Brickhaus — Restaurant in San Juan

I was there around 9pm and the restaurant says that it closed at 11 pm but once I got here the waitress gave me an attitude because I was there late and she had to clean and she told me to go outside because she was starting to clean so we did and I didn’t even take a seat when she asked me “what do you want?” In a mean way and she was the waiting for me to order and I wasn’t even able to go through the menu and ordered some wings (that were not even that good because they barely put sauce on them), well I was asking about drinks and prices and she was like all of them have the same price, so I was asking for one and she said no, that one is more expensive so I started thinking about another drink, and she was like it’s okay I’ll bring you that one I have to go, so while she was walking away I said, excuse me I did not ask for that, can I get some water but she walked away and didn’t hear me, so I had a terrible experience and she charged her own tip and brought me a drink I didn’t even wanted, while I was waiting I was even thinking about walking away but I realized they have cameras, but do not go there, the customer service is terrible and the food...

Food was decent, they had the basketball game, bar tender and other waiter was nice the woman not the case. She was rude, had an attitude. I specifically said I have a food sensitivity to spicy condiments. Told her, asked her if what I ordered had that and she stated no. Food came out and it did, I told her and she said no it's not. Second in the middle of the game she gives us the bill without asking if we want more drinks. I pay bill but I do wa t more drinks. She never stopped by the table. It wasn't until I asked for beer at the bar that she stopped by and asked. Last was my credit card went missing. I gave my credit card to a waiter. And I don't know what happened to the communication between them but I wait about 7mins and she returns with the bill for the one beer. I said someone has my card and she says No one has it with an attitude. Another 7 minutes pass and they happened to find my card at the bar. I definitely won't be returning. It's a shame because it's a nice spot and the other two...

We chose this place over the many because the menu was diverse but simple. We started with a margarita and sangria. My partner ordered beef burrito and I had a Brickhaus Burger. The drinks came out quickly and the main course within 15 minutes. My burger was cooked perfectly and the presentation was very appetising. Three condiment sauces included with the meal much appreciated. The burrito was a generous size and with a side of non greasy fries rounded it off nicely. Waiters were great and the English better our Spanish. Only tip - clean your bathroom. It’s not unsanitary, just needs some TLC. Women notice this stuff. Notes: dine indoors or out, but indoors has loud music. Wheelchair accessible outside but steps to get indoors. Kid friendly but again, probably better outdoors. Thank you for a lovely first night together in Puerto Rico dinner.
