Several weeks ago while on a cruise, my wife and I stopped into Blue Diamond. We were greeted professionally by Lillian. We were shopping for a replacement Tanzinite stone for my wife's ring. Lillian showed us many options and while we chose not to buy at that time, she was friendly and professional! Kudos to Lillian!! We also stopped at a second Blue Diamond store to inquire about replacement Tanzinite settings for my wife's ring and a watch. We were promptly greeted by Farra who showed us options for the ring as well as watches. Being that we wanted to visit and shop at some other stores and enjoy shopping in San Juan, we chose to continue down the street to other well known jewelers. After a couple hours of enjoying the day and visiting other stores, we decided to revisit Blue Diamond with regard to my wife's ring. Lillian showed us some additional stones as options of which none appealed until we saw a gem we had never seen or considered in another display. When Lillian brought out that ring the smile on my wife's face said it all. That was the one!! Long story short. Between Lillian, Gary (the owner), and Chesray (our Cruise Shopping Director) we have a new setting for my wife's ring due to arrive in the next two weeks. Thank you to one and all for your professionalism and service!!! Chapter 2 On our way back to the ship we stopped in at the second Blue Diamond Jewelry store. We talked with Farra our original sales person but also Sonny (the owner and Gary's brother). Yes, we purchased two watches!! Yes, we liked the watches. Yes, we were pleased with the price! This is an update 1 year post purchase. My friend and I bought matching diamond rings while we were there. When we got home each of our rings had stones fall out. I reached out to the store and they fixed it, got the ring back and within 30 minutes a stone fell out again. Each time I send it back it take 2+ months to get it back. I have literally worn this ring collectively for 2 hours because stones just fall out. My friends ring loses a stone each time she wears it.
I took the both to a local jeweler and asked what could be done and they said nothing really. That the stones are barely set into the rings and that in order to repair it would take more labor than the rings are worth. The best option would be to pick out a new setting and put the stones in that. That would also be very expensive.

I dealt with Maggie Martinez, Diamond Specialist & Store Manager, she was AWESOME! She knew exactly what would be best for me and my budget! Her enthusiasm and knowledge both outstanding!!!
