I’m gonna start taking it upon myself to help small businesses in PR thrive by giving criticism:
The ice cream here is great.
Customers shouldn’t have to wait 30 minutes to grab a pint though. You guys should have a freezer out, where customers can see what pints you have available pre-made. Then you should have two employees serving. And one should be checking when new people walk in if they want to order a cup/cone to stay or just quickly grab a pint and go.
Tonight was another night that we left without ice cream because we stood in line for over 20 minutes while big parties ahead of us tasted and ordered their personal ice creams.
Another night we ended up just going to Ben n Jerry’s or the supermarket.
Don’t know if we’ll try again, sucks we can’t walk out, pick up some food at the food trucks and quickly stop in and grab a pint.
Should have a system where people who just want a pint don’t have to wait behind big parties as they taste and order.
Just a pro-tip. Should make your business run way better by having happier customers, especially customers who are local within walking distance. You’ll want to keep those happiest the most and they’ll be your most repeat customers.
You’re welcomed.
PS. I’ll change to five stars once that change is implemented, because you truly have a great business idea and the ice cream is great. But I’m done complaining about weak managed businesses and instead choosing too try to help.
Update: thank you for the reply. No need for the free pint. I truly love your place and want to see you guys thrive! As a neighbor, I’m wishing you much success and looking forward to coming back and seeing that pint...
Read moreNaughty and Nice ice cream!! Selection was varied and field with grate flavors. The place has a good atmosphere and even has toys and games to entertain guests especially with kids. I hanged around playing Jenga with my kid for a while after I finished. Flavors are very good and had very original flavor including some with alcohol. Rum chata was very good I also had a strawberry one with alcohol that was prety good. The shortbread cookie ice cream was a little to sweet for me but it was obvious it was most peoples favorite cause most of the people orderning came just for that. There was even this lady that came in and was like " Please tell me you have shortbread available". If your not from Puerto Rico I recomend the Soursoup ice cream It is super good and its from a fuit that grows here in Puerto Rico I am sure you've tasted nothing like it. Prices are good. My only problem is that they had some flavors that where displayed that they didn't have available. And the staff seemed a little lost to what was up with that. The owner was also working and was very kind and looked like she realy cares about her business and most impotantly she treated her employees with respect in front of the customer. I see this place growing with time as word gets out of...

I had the whiskey coconut Italian ice and it was perfectly done. It had a nicely balanced vanilla-caramel whiskey flavor on top of a bright coconut ice.
My wife had the RumChata ice cream and it was really tasty as well. Highly recommend it if you’re a fan of horchata. Would be nice to have a cinnamon sugar garnish as a final touch — doesn’t need it, but an idea.
We opted for the homemade cones, which were fresh, crisp and slightly “toasted” which gave them a nice caramel flavor.
The two young ladies running the shop were very friendly and helpful.
An absolute must-stop if you’re in the area, especially if you’ve just walked all over El Yunque...
