The owner did not have any soap in the bathrooms. There was a door that read in Spanish that only employees could go in. A friend from the states opened the door, because he didnât know how to read in Spanish, to ask for soap. The guy inside told him he didnât had any, but before anything else happened the lady owner started cursing nasty words at my friend (in Spanish) and pushed him out. I told her (in Spanish) that he didnât understand what was happening. She said that she didnât care. That she was the owner and that we had to leave. The place had widows and doors fully open, with good music loudly playing- very inviting atmosphere. Good, cheap drinks. Not a super trendy bar, like many in Old San Juan, but I think, more of a typical Puerto Rican party bar. It had the feel of the bars in La Placita, filled with locals, but more welcoming.    Read moreLovely bartenders but horrible owner. The owner is rude to customers and her employees. She seats by the door to be on her phone like some cracked out junkie and to act out on people she doesnât like for whatever petty reason she might find. She goes ranting about her customers and trashing them in front of people.
She also parks illegally her car on the handicapped space in front of the business being inconsiderate about those in real need of the handicapped parking.
For a better experience and customer service, go to the bar across the street...
