This store came highly recommended by a family member who is an artist from San Juan and buys from this store frequently. So I felt comfortable buying from them. My wife and I drove to San Juan just to purchase crystals from this store. Our first experience was fantastic. The girl behind the counter made me feel very comfortable and was knowledgeable. My second experience was an online order. Everything was fine but one of the Abalone shell came in broken. I was told that they would send me another one and I would just have to pay for shipping which I was ok with. I told the girl I would place another order so the Abalone could be placed in that order. I placed my third order on 2/29/24, waited about a week and I called for the status of the order. I was told that the shell was backed order. So I waited 2 weeks later and called again. I was told that the shell was still back ordered. I decided to check the website and low and behold they had it on the website. I called back and spoke to the manager Shirley and she said she was gonna look into it and call me back in five minutes. 2 1/2 hours later I called back and someone just picked up the phone and hung it up. So I called back immediately this time it went straight to voicemail. So I had my wife call from a Puerto Rico number. And lo and behold, someone picks up. Then I was told by the person that runs the online store that what I seen on the website was an error and they did do not have Abalone. So I said why didn't you say that? She went on and on but never gave me a real answer. She told me that the shells will be in the next morning and it will be shipped the same day. At this point I'm feeling really uncomfortable about the energy that's gonna be on these crystals. I really did not want them anymore but I said okay and I would wait until the following morning. I had my wife call cause at this point I am frustrated. She was on the phone with them a 1/2 an hour only to get frustrated and cancel the order because at this point they still did not have the Abalone and my order was not shipped. I do not recommend this place. Just goes to show you be careful where you get your crystals from you never know what energy...

Any pictures I post wouldn't do it justice because the quality of the stones (and the prices!) are something you will simply have to see with your own two eyes and what a lucky individual you will be. I had the pleasure of visiting Turquesa on my birthday, having arrived in San Juan a day earlier, and this truly made my entire trip. If I had gone nowhere else this week, I would be completely happy with Turquesa. Now that might sound strange, but if you love stones as much as I do (and you do because you're reading this), you will walk out of there positively floating. The owner was super friendly and Emily made me a gorgeous Rhodochrosite bracelet and was extremely patient as I wandered around the store gaping and gawking and gushing about how amazing everything was. I stayed there for well over an hour and thought I would be in and out. I haven't stopped thinking about it since and so I am going back while I am still in Puerto Rico! I warned Emily that I might just come to San Juan to work at the store with her! LOL Seriously, visit this place and be prepared to send stuff back home to yourself because you will...

First time visiting and it was a very pleasant experience, first of all they are very clean, you wait for them to open the door and they immediately have a hand sanitizer and temperature check in the door before welcoming you, the first Lady that welcomed us talked to us about the different types of stones and showed us around the store a bit, was very nice and told us if we needed anything we could ask anytime.

While browsing another lady came to help and literally helped us search for a full set of Chakra stones in a size that we were looking for, not only that but she brought different types of stones and sizes of each of the 7 Chakra stones, she weighted them all and told us the exact price of each so we could pick and choose according to our budget and how much we liked them.

Overall we were very happy with the experience, the store itself is very clean and they disinfect it throughly, the employees were extremely courteous and extremely helpful, I recommend visiting the store and I will definitely be back whenever we need to purchase...

We stopped iby Turquesa during a recent afternoon walk through Old San Juan. There are all kinds of jewelry, beads, rocks, stones, etc. in the small shop. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Lots of wiccan and/or pagan religion materials, charms, books and charms. Not our cup of tea, but there if that’s your sort of thing. Definitely not upscale jewelry, more of what most would consider costume jewelry. There are a few nicer things there, like Larimar, from the Dominican Republic, which can be found everywhere in the Caribbean. An interesting place to browse for a few minutes, not someplace you should go out of your way to visit IMHO.

Every time I come to Old San Juan with my grandson, I stop by this quartz shop. Most of my quartz crystals come from here, and every gift I’ve given him has also been chosen here. We talk about the crystals, their healing powers, and the regions they come from—and this place truly has everything. The staff is always helpful, and in the picture you’ll see Nicole and Freddie, who were both so kind to us. If you’re visiting Old San Juan, there’s a stone waiting for you. You don’t really choose the crystal… it chooses you.

Has a lot of cool minerals and geodes but I wish they would weigh some things instead of giving them an instant price. For example, I wanted a very small one in its jagged form and it would've ended up being the same price as the bigger chunks that I don't have enough space for. However, they have very good service and I did manage to get this chunk of amethyst for 20$ the first time I went.
