This message is in no way a reflection of the establishment itself or the other staff members, who were all very pleasant and professional. My concern is solely regarding the extremely disrespectful and dismissive behavior of the Lead, Manuel.
Upon entering the breakfast area, I asked where I needed to go for breakfast. There was no “Please Wait to Be Seated” sign displayed at that time, and no one approached or directed me. I walked in, looked around, began selecting breakfast items, and still — no one approached. I sat my food down, went to order an omelet, and again, no acknowledgment.
When I returned to pick up my omelet, Manuel finally approached me — not with a greeting or offer of help, but with an abrupt, “What are you doing?” tone. I explained that I had a breakfast voucher, and he responded, “What’s your room number?” before bluntly stating, “You can’t have this.”
He then walked me over to show me what I was “allowed” to have — fruit, yogurt, and bread — even though the voucher clearly includes additional breakfast items. When I mentioned that no one had told me this, he shrugged his shoulders dismissively. I went to pick up the omelet I had already ordered, and he insisted on taking my voucher, saying he needed to “keep it.”
Since the voucher still covered other items, I tore off the portion he needed and kept the rest, assuming that was fine. However, he then told me I would need to pay for everything, claiming I “should have stayed at the front.” I explained that I had waited, and no one had approached or directed me — something he didn’t even deny. It was clear he had chosen to speak to me only after deciding I had done something wrong.
His tone and body language were unnecessarily harsh, condescending, and unprofessional. I would have completely understood if there was a policy misunderstanding, but the lack of courtesy and basic respect was unacceptable.
Never , experienced anything close to this an individual in customer service going back and forth about something so trivial .
I reported the issue to the front desk and was informed that this was not the first complaint regarding Manuel’s behavior. That, in itself, is very concerning. He made me leave the food I had already selected and the omelet I had ordered unless I agreed to pay — an unnecessarily humiliating and unpleasant experience.
I truly hope management addresses this issue, as the behavior I experienced from Manuel does not reflect the otherwise kind and professional environment of your...

Read moreI stopped in for a late night snack and was very disappointed. Honestly was shocked by the price of the truffle pizza I got= $25- the menu I was provided had no price- I should have asked. Overkill on the truffle paste- so much on the pizza it was difficult to eat! Had to ask for extra arugula to try to off set the truffle paste. Also left a horrible after taste. I barely ate 2 small pieces! Would not recommend! With tip- $45 for a pizza and sangria. Won’t do this again- make the walk down the street for better food options! - or at least skip this...
