I never leave poor reviews of businesses but was incredibly disappointed in the ethics of this establishment. We were so excited to come here to visit for my sister’s bachelorette party. However were incredibly disappointed when we ordered champagne and the waitress asked us what kind we wanted and we told her that we were not from here so didn’t know of the brands they mentioned. She did not offer a menu for us to read off either. Rather than bringing the house-mid priced bottle, the waitress took advantage of the situation by bringing us the $100 bottle of champagne without letting us know the price or that she was bringing the most expensive bottle. Then, she proceeded to let us order 4 bottles of it. Taking advantage of people who are not from the area or familiar with the brands is unfortunate, however, what was more unfortunate was upon speaking with the owner, who agreed the server was in the wrong, simply offered us a bottle of house liquor, which we did not take as it was not about getting free drinks, but the principal of allowing guests to spend an obscene amount on champagne without informing them that the price per bottle was $100. The owner wouldn’t adjust the bill for the server taking advantage of our lack of knowledge of brand names for champagne. As someone who used to work in food and Bev, it was disappointing to find people in the service industry treat tourists so poorly. Also, upon looking up the name of the champagne today, it is a $36 bottle of champagne that they had marked up for $100, therefore it would not have hurt the business to adjust the bill to at least the price they had purchased the bottles from the distributor. Terrible ethics.
AND the below response from the owner is a flat out lie. Would you like a screen shot of the bill where you DID NOT remove the bottles? Or a video of the conversation where the waitress DID NOT inform the group of the prices or provide a menu? It’s one thing to make the mistake, another to not take ownership, and entirely another to LIE about what happened. If, you removed the bottles from the bill, you will have no problem with us challenging the credit card...

Drove by several times, on the way to San Juan, and finally got to eat here before the vacation was over. 100% worth it. The ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars is because most stands were out of half the menu. Caveat, we arrived at 7p, so it could have been a "get here early" type of situation. Still, everything we ordered tasted great! Full of flavor. It's not easy to offer so many dishes and do them well, but they did. The mixologists at the bars, know exactly what they are doing too. Plus, knowledgeable and friendly staff at each...
Read moreThe location is definitely in a great spot right across the beach with a great sunset view, if you go in the afternoon. Be aware the food is a bit pricey and at some points over priced. They had a "mexican taco stand" I bought 2 Mexican sangrias to cool off a bit. They sold me a display one because they had run out and still charged me $13 bucks for both. ( Fyi I buy those for $1 here in Texas ) also my friend had ordered a hamburger from their hamburger stand and they literally took 45 minutes to give him a chicken burger that he didn't order. So he requested his money back. But overall the best part was the stand with the macaroni menu that stuff was amazing. A great fusion of American mac and cheese with a Puerto Rican twist. That's why I'm giving it at 3 if it wasn't for that mac and cheese I would have probably...
