Incredibly rude Seemed like a nice place. We were seated and ordered drinks and then food. After about five minutes we received drinks and started to enjoy them. The manager said to us and the couple next to us that we needed to move bc a large party was coming in and they needed to sit together. We obliged. After being reseated we were asked to move again. We did. More than 15-20 min and we’re already on our second drinks and we see the large party getting their food. Mind you. We had already ordered before they walked in. We said something to the manager about our food and he shrugs his shoulders and says ‘there’s nothing we can do about it’. Nothing you can do? He said the party booked the table a month ago and they had to feed them first. Plate after plate was delivered to the other tables and not even an appetizer for us. We were so angry at this point and ready to just walk out but we decided to ask about our food once again. Again they said ‘nothing we can do’. I mean what the hell!! We said we wanted the Check and wanted to leave. After paying and telling the manager how rude it was to do what they did to us he never once apologized for anything. Nothing. He didn’t care. Just kept shrugging his shoulders. He then takes our copy of the receipt and tosses it at us. Such garbage rude and disrespectful service by the staff. I have never had an experience like that before. This hole in the wall doesn’t deserve any positive reviews. And the bathrooms!!! A dirty unisex bathroom with a single toilet and shower stall was available three doors down. Not even within the restaurant. A definitive hole...

We visited at the end of a week vacation, mostly because I read the reviews and menu. The place was difficult to find, inside the barracks, which wasn'ta problem. The decor needs work. Refrigerators behind bar make it feel like a convenience store and Florescent lights behind bookshelf are cold. It was empty on a Friday at 7. All the decent tables were reserved and remained empty when we left. we had to sit at a high top. Server was inexperienced and didn't speak English and had to bring the bartender over to communicate, but then kept trying to serve instead of passing us to a more capable person. I like tapas and liked the menu. We had two appetizers, Payela, and steak. The food was better than good but for the price I expect it to be incredibly delicious or have a good portion, for this reason; price versus quality/portion I can't give 4 stars. The owner came and introduced himself as we left and he seems nice but I wonder how they will stay in business with so many factors working against getting good reviews and...

During my short visit to San Juan, this has been the best overall restaurant I visited when comparing menu, food, service, and price.

Many was not too diverse, but it was detailed. Further, the staff - Kudos to Alexandra, she was soooooooo amazing and gorgeous and nice - answered all our questions, of which we had plenty. She even laughed at our jokes.

Appetizers were croquettes. The codfish ones were not salty as we feared. The manchego cheese were a bit more so. Both delicious!!

I had a salad, which they accommodated me with half shrimp and half chicken, an option not on the menu. One of my companions had the grouper fish tacos, which looked delicious.

Overall, for what we ate and drank, the four of us spent a bit more than $105, including taxes, which was surprisingly amazing!

And did I mention everything was absolutely and perfectly and deliciously cooked. And beautifully presented?? They also had a wide variety of wines, but it wasn't what we desired...

After a very hot and sweaty visit to the fort in Old San Juan, we just needed to sit in a cool environment with food and drinks. Came across this tiny restaurant with HUGE flavor, inviting atmosphere, great drinks and even greater servers! I wasn’t sure what to expect but when our food was received I was blown away by the taste and quality! It’s 5 star !!!! Absolutely recommend! We had chicken breast in a white garlic cream sauce, seafood paella for one, and a sandwich served on a baguette with ham and cheese which was the best I’d ever eaten in my life! As we entered and left, we were loved on by a sweet orange cat who comes with the territory!

Lovely cold AC after a hot walk exploring El Morro, close to the first floor public restrooms for this little business park - and probably one of the best damn piña coladas I got. They said it was their own recipe, and the dollop of whip cream on top was definitely thick and creamy and rich - none of this Reddi-Whip or Cool Whip nonsense. Food was a good, too, although we ended up only getting an appetizer. Looked amazing, but prices were high - although not unexpectedly so, given the quality of the food and drink at this establishment. I fully intend to enjoy their paella on my next visit to the island. :3 I also appreciate the cats. :)
