I accidentally ordered the wrong item on the nations website. I ordered a two eager but was really wanting a bacon cheeseburger. So I immediately called nations and asked if they could change my order to a bacon cheeseburger. Omg this is when I realized I'm not dealing with the sharpest tools in the shed. They told me they couldn't change it. I said ill pay the difference. I offered them three additional dollars to substitute they said they wouldn't. So I immediately jump in my car and go there thinking there must be some kind of mix up. Are they forcing me to order what I'm clearly telling them I don't want? Are they punking me? Just give me a bacon cheeseburger instead. "No". Ill pay the difference. "No." So just to resolve this issue diplomatically because my blood started boiling and I found a fit of rage coming over me, I reached in my pocket and forked out another 10 bucks just to get what I wanted and was forced to take the two eager. Can u imagine being told u can't cancel or change an order as you see fit. The websites not accommodating. The employees aren't accommodating. Like for real I was so angry that if I was one of those loose cannon types things could've gotten ugly quick. Well at least the homeless guy outside was happy. He ate good...
Read moreI grew up in the Bay area used to come here on really special occasions for their pies. Especially the strawberry tarts. They were so good we considered it fancy. we'd buy them on special occasions... mom's birthday, anniversaries, et cetera. Now that I moved back to the Bay area I was so excited to come back to Nations and get some of those famous pies. Recently though I've been noticing that the strawberry tart has been way lower in quality than the quality of fresh strawberries I used to experience when I was a kid. Today I am so sad and mortified to say that my strawberry tart had a maggot in it. It was small and dying but this now is the worst experience I've ever had eating food from a restaurant and we'll no longer be going to this Nation's again. Lately. the quality and care has been completely absent even in the appearance and customer service of the place. I swallowed my pride bc I wanted to give the pies a try. maybe it was a bad harvest. or some other excuse... Reminiscing on old times no longer at this joint. But today, I'm throwing in the towel. Going all the way to Freemont for pies now. Swishing a shot of whiskey and hope to drown my terror...
Read moreThis location is total crap!! I was so disappointed. Almost $19 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries, drink, and slice of cherry cheesecake. If it was good it might, I mean, might be worth it. But sadly friends it's the worst nations I've been to. The $6 cheesecake was sliced by a near sighted child. The slice, if I can call it that, was not sliced in a triangle (traditional), I got the left overs. It closely resembled a rectangle of pie, or pie bar, lol. The cherry topping looked old and glazed over and dull in color. For $6.20 they gave me the the small old left over slice. The fries where barely in the frier. They were very under cooked. For my drink I wanted iced tea, but all that came out was water. I told the lady at the register about this and she said I wasn't doing it right, to which I demonstrated for her how I selected the flavor of tea I wanted and all I got was water. To further insult she asked to see my cup to verify for herself that it was in fact tea. This is not the burger joint to go to in this area. I recommend rockys charcoal grill right before this crap fest. I went to rockys after leaving beachside I still wanted a great burger and...
