Who doesn't love a good deal? We usually stop there after our shopping trip. Large pizza for 9.99??? Unheard of anywhere else ...and they are not large, they are x-large. They don't skimp on toppings either. Now- u order and pay at that new little kiosk, then go to the window to pick up. Well I think Costco could do better....because you pretty much wait in line for nothing if you order the whole pizza - they direct you to go to the little window on the side of the building...again you wait there. There is no system there - people come later and get their pizza before .- I think they need to go to an order number system so customers can go to the side window right away and wait for their number to be called. Everytime we go there, I speak to people in line that seem annoyed and feel the same. I kind of figured things out by now, and just deal with it for the price and quality. The staff is very nice and I know they try to do the best they can with the tools given to them. I have seen some pretty nasty customers waiting and I'm sure the staff get the rath of unpleasant customers. The pizza is great, by the slice or whole, it's a bargain and even if I'm inconvenienced, they will continue to get my business. Also ... $1.50 for hot dog and soda??? They can't be making profit. That's a ridiculous deal and yummy!!!! Wished they would bring back the churros. ☺️ I love out San Luis...
Read moreI used to stop at the Costco food court to get a Polish dog and a drink. Costco in SLO recently removed the Polish from the menu. I guess I will need to find somewhere else to get a Polish dog. I hate regular hot dogs so that is not an option. I hope Costco reconsiders and puts it back on the menu... Even if they raise the price from $1.50 tool $2.00. I could switch over to pizza. I put a suggestion in the box to please bring back Polish dogs. I know Costco listens to customers because they brought back trash cans at the it was stations when customers complained. They did not bring back the windshield wash stations at their gas stations. Other than that I...
Read moreWild that the food court was JUST closed for months because of food safety concerns when the employees are so lackluster. They were pulling hotdogs and wrapping them in foil before they were even ordered.
I can understand wanting to be ahead of the rush, but I cant abide doing so with temperature controlled meat products intended for public consumption.
To add further to the insult, the fellow I interacted with was rude and condescending when I asked for a hot dog not from the pile of random soggy hotdogs.
