Starbucks — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

Parking is quite small and tight. It is shared with Jamba Juice and a few other establishments. The store is mainly for ordering your drinks or food and leave as there are not that many tables to sit. The line is also pretty cramped and if it is busy, it will snake around like going through airport security. The barista makes good drinks and the staff appears to be mainly friendly students from Cal Poly. The area to wait and pick up your drink is also cramped so I simply waited outside for my drink to be made and walked inside periodically to check the status. There is also no outdoor seating avaliable. This is one of the few Starbucks open in SLO. I deducted one star because the store closed the option to place a mobile order. This is the worst sbux in slo county. Every time I come here they get my order wrong. I just waited very long for a bagel and a drink because they made my drink wrong and forgot to put in my bagel. The staff is super nice and friendly which makes me feel bad leaving an unsavory review but I used to work at Starbucks for 5+ years, and in several locations across the country—this Starbucks is the most inefficient Starbucks I’ve seen yet. As I said, normally I wold give my baristas the benefit of a doubt, but they weren’t even busy, they were chatting it up, and were not paying attention to one another—which is why they got my order wrong. This starbucks is sooooo poorly managed. Went in with my baby in tow, it was not busy there was not a line behind me. The girl taking my order was soooo rude. She kept cutting me off, seemed completely uninterested in dealing with a customer and acted as if i was an overall annoyance for patronizing her store. She then rudely barked my order at the barista and disappeared into the back. Wow. I asked the barista if i could speak to a manager concerning this encounter with the incredibly rude individual. The barista informed me that the rude girl IS the manager! Are you kidding me? That person should not be in a leadership position she has no sense of customer service...
