The food was inventive, perfectly balanced, and full of flavors that had our party of 3 swooning. The shared plate menu allowed us to try so many dishes and they were all great, but the highlights for us were probably the korokke (Japanese croquettes) and the seasonal crudo. The reasonably priced menu with a range of offerings/prices allowed us to get out of there for just under $100 for a party of 3 before tip including a couple glasses from the well-curated wine list. Their business model is like a sandwich shop: you seat yourself, and then walk to a counter to order. Unusual for a dinner restaurant at these (high) prices. Then they have one waitress attending to the entire restaurant. (Plus a chef and a sous chef). And that one waitress acted as if our presence was an imposition. She practically threw the food at our table. She appeared completely frazzled the entire time, as did the rest of the staff. It was unsettling and unprofessional.
