Okay... So I kept my promise to try it again.
Went during the middle of the week while TXST was out. They were not busy. We were sat immediately. There were a lot fewer workers. They all looked like regulars. Server was quick. Food was reasonably quick. Although, I'm not sure that the quality is on par with other B-Dubs. There were a few hiccups with the order. None were show stoppers.
That said they are currently running an unlimited appetizers promotion for $10. You get to choose any two of five items, but can change it up on reorder.
Upgrading service from from 2 star to 3 star and overall gets the same.
At store opening.....
Too many chiefs. Not enough indians. There were multiple issues with our meal. Went there for lunch on the weekend. The place was fairly busy with three large parties, but not packed.
Good: Sat quickly. Waitress was quick to take orders. Food was as expected. Don't think they applied any discounts, but total bill was less than expected. A manager did come to answer questions.
Bad: Took 50 minutes for us all to receive our food. 30 min mark when my daughter received her meal, the rest was another table's order. It would be another 20 minutes for our other three meals. Had to ask for silverware. Slow to respond to any requests. Didn't have two of their signature wing sauces. Waitress came by twice to check on us. First time was to see if we needed anything else after my daughter got her food. Didn't pick up on the fact we had four people but only one plate. And we had to ask for refills later.
Odd: They had at least two different teams running the place. There were people in normal BWWs shirts and another group wearing blue polos that said NSB. They appeared to have different managers. Think there were at least 3 owners/managers on site at the time. Two in business casual. One, maybe two, in NSB. I think they were talking but communication sucked. There were a lot of people just standing around. -- I'm guessing NSB is a training program (Gary Job Corps?). About 8 NSB folks left at the same time via the same minivan. I spent most of my time trying to figure out who was in charge and how these groups functioned together.
BLAB -- They have significant issues to work through. I'd try them again, but will give them a month to...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I have ever had at Buffalo Wild Wings. We were sat down and then waited 30 minutes for a server that we had to hunt down to come over to our table. While we were waiting for our server we went up to the bar to get water and then found black markings on the bottom. We brought it to the attention of who looked like she was the manager she said ohhh it’s ink from pins because we use the cups to hold pins. The server then apologized that there was a server mixup and she didn’t know she was covering this section. That should never have happened the fact no server stood up to see if we had been helped is very disappointing. We decided to place our drink order, appetizers, and food order at once because we heard other people complaining that they hadn’t received their food or they can’t find their server to pay and leave. We waited another 30 minutes for just our drinks to be brought out. We never received our appetizers and I’m not going to ask them to still bring it because we waited an hour and a half for our food in the first place I did not want to wait another 30 minutes for my pretzels. When the food arrived my wings were incorrect, someone I came with ordered the sampler platter and the fried pickles tasted gross more like zucchini then a pickle, the cheese sticks were not cooked. We haven’t seen our server since placing our order and who knows how long it will take to get our check. The San Marcos, Texas location is extremely understaffed and not staffed with good people they walk around not knowing what to do. The food being crappy on top of the service is extremely disappointing and will not be returning to...
Read moreWe usually grab food either on a Thursday or Friday evening as a family. Today, I was told we were going to have "Wing Wednesday". Ok no problem. We called our orders in and picked them up. Assuming they got the orders correct, we drove back home. Keep in mind, we live a town over from where this location is located. We get home and notice we are missing chips and salsa and fries for two of the other meals. My kid calls in and the young girl that answers the phone goes, "hello?" Um, is this Buffalo Wild Wings? You would think there would be a tad bit more professionalism when you answer the phone,, "Thank you for calling Buffalo Wild Wings, this is ... How may I help you?" Nope. None of that. Was told to come back and we would be given the missing items. We hop in the car, drive all the way out there, was handed a bag and we were on our way back home. It is at least 15 minutes from my house to Buffalo Wild Wings each way. We get home and they put fries in there bag, but the chips and salsa are STILL missing. We decided to cut our losses with the chips and salsa. We had to drive to this place and back twice and it was over an hour total trip time between both visits. You not only failed us once, you failed us twice. On top of that, you can not even answer the phone professionally. The food was mediocre at best.
This is not the first time I have eaten at Buffalo Wild Wings and I am very disappointed in the quality of the food, the level of service and the professionalism...
