Want frustration and arrogance? Go to KFC at 555 2nd street in San Rafael. Our group decided to have chicken for our 'game night' so my wife and I headed to KFC with our coupon offering 12 piece bucket for $14.95. The cashier said we could only get 1 bucket even though the coupon clearly says limit 4. After considerable time trying to get across to now 4 high school age workers that we wanted 2 buckets at the advertised price, I asked to speak to the manager. Now a male person, Zachary Harwood came to the register and said why could we not get 2 buckets at the sale price and his response was "my manager says only 1, if you want more than that you must pay the regular price for those". When I asked to speak to his manager, in an air of superiority he said "well I'm the assistant manager in charge and a part owner and it's a limit of 1 at the special price". So I went inside and asked If I can order inside , the guy said yes so I wait 5 mins, then there's a lady came said I have to go to the drive thru, I said I didn't bring my car. So she took my order but they gave me a sandwich with chicken that doesn't look good. They forgot to put the fries so the other guy brought it to the kitchen. I still said "thank you" .When I got home the coleslaw was missing, no ketchup at all and I couldn't eat the chicken that because soo spicy. ooh I forgot there's like 8 staff there, I felt so embarrassed when I left the place because they look at me like I am the weird one. none of them said sorry for their mistake. This location seems to be combined with a Taco Bell, and that meant it was confusing where the entrance to the KFC was.
One complaint I have is, you need to ask for a key to get into the washroom. The key is also attached to some stick or spatula kind of thing. I don't want to touch this thing which is likely full of germs while I am eating my food. Even if you wash your hands, you still need to touch the dirty key stick after washing yourself. Then you are supposed to eat....
