Is it a bit pricey for cookies? Yes. Is it worth it? Well, I keep going back, so…
The Crumbl cookies taste incredibly like their namesakes, and they keep customers like me coming back because they change their menu of specialty flavors weekly. They also offer a good variety of ice cream. Caramel Apple? See photo - YES, that’s a piece of real scrumptious apple on top. Cotton Candy? Can’t believe it but YES, tasted like cotton candy - in a good way.
SERVE COOKIES WARM / COLD Crumbl recommends certain flavors to be served COLD, such as Cookies & Cream. Put it in the fridge for a while and it changes your whole experience. Follow their recommendation!
Crumbl has their own app you can download to stay aware of their weekly menu and order your items in advance (you can also use services like Door Dash). As of the date of this review, they have 2 curbside pickup parking spots. At first I thought 2 reserved parking spots was excessive, but they do get pretty busy, so it makes sense.
You can sign up for Crumble points, so when you spend a certain amount of money, you earn credit toward future purchases.
Technology Fail / Positive Customer Svc == The San Ramon store just opened this month. They have prepared well with plenty of staff, and their cookies are produced consistently. However, I placed a recent order on Door Dash for pick up, which appeared to be stuck in “waiting for Crumbl to confirm your order” status. I proceeded to the store anyway, and by the time I got there it was 30 minutes after I had placed the order. I was disappointed to learn that when I showed my order to the staff, it had still not been confirmed, and my cookies weren’t ready. The walk-in line was long, and I was sure that I was going to be stuck waiting for a while. The young man who was assisting me didn’t hesitate to turn to the team and he alerted them to the issue. In under a minute my order was assembled and handed to me. I was further explaining the technical wonkiness, and another team member approached just to make sure everything was okay and that my issue was fully resolved. Not sure if my experience would have been different had I used the actual Crumbl app instead of a 3rd party app. Despite the minor inconvenience, I’d still recommend ordering your items in advance to avoid the potential walk-in lines.
BOTTOM LINE: The cookies are pricey, and the technology needs fine tuning, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. But it’s still worth the splurge for these amazing cookies and I...
Read moreDo not ever go to this Crumbl!
I ordered cookies Directly through the app.
An elementary school, principal, and gave specific directions to have the cookies delivered to the office.
The cookies were delivered behind our multipurpose room of photo was taken and sent to me at 10:28 AM
When I went to the location where the cookies supposedly had been delivered at 10:31, the cookies were gone.
I called Crumbl San Ramon, and they said there is nothing we could do it and that it was a DoorDash issue. When I went to DoorDash, and they said there was nothing they could do because I did not order the cookies through DoorDash. They did not have record of my order, an Order number or anything.
I called the same location again and they still said there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't let me talk to a manager.etc
I called Crumbl corporate and they offered me a free cookie which doesn't seem equal to $71 worth of cookies
I understand that DoorDash messed this up, but if Crumbl is going to contract their deliveries out to DoorDash, they should be the ones Responsible for fixing things...
I also understand that if I had ordered these cookies through DoorDash, it's a DoorDash issue, but I ordered directly through the Crumbl app because DoorDash has had so many issues In the past.

Read moreI want to love this place. So far I just kinda like it. The people were friendly and the branding is cute and fun. The cookies, well they are decent cookies but not mind blowing. For the price I was hoping for mind blowing. Everyone has different taste buds so your mileage may vary. For myself I will keep an eye out for their next rotation of flavors and hope the next round will have my magical unicorn. Specifics: (in order of how much my wife and I liked them) Chilled sugar cookie - definitely the best flavor and most unique would get this one again. Glad this one stays in the menu Lemon cookie - close second to the sugar cookie but not especially unique Snickerdoodle - pretty good but not as much of a fan of the cream cheese frosting on top. Also not especially unique The two chocolate chip variants - both are a decent chocolate chip cookie but not unique and not the best I've ever had. The brownie sunday - didn't care for this one at all. Super heavy on the frosting which is super rich and I suppose they try to balance that by making the actual brownie less sweet. Could have been a mistake but once I scraped off the rest of the frosting I swear the bite I took of the brownie tasted like unsweetened...
