Happy Lemon-San Ramon — Restaurant in San Ramon

I wanted to love this place so bad that I tried the same beverage on 4 different occasions over the span of 1 year with different people making the beverage every time. The first time it was delicious. Creamy, flavorful, refreshing. Everytime after that, it was completely different. Once it was missing the taro foam that it came with, and today there was almost no foam, the beverage was lukewarm, super melted and watery, and almost no sweetness even though I asked for average sweetness. The cups are also not clear anymore, so I couldn't even see the (wateriness and lack of cream/foam until I took a sip. It's just a bummer spending $7+ on a beverage not knowing what you're going to get. I totally understand that it's hard to make boba and there's a learning curve and I don't mind it, but I hope the business will operationalize their production a bit more so that it's...

First timers at Happy Lemon and gosh my daughter and I LOVE this place!!! First of all the cashier was so patient with me as I fumbled through my order (first timer). I ordered as green milk tea with aloe jelly and medium sweetness. My daughter ordered a dragon fruit yakult smoothie. Both were yumtastic!!! This is our new place for boba! Oh and we also ordered a bubble waffle with puff cream sauce. Pure heaven to eat! Order this - you won't regret it! Special thank you to owners and brothers John and Jordan. They are so very sweet and we cannot thank them enough for generously replacing our dropped bubble waffle! They didn't have to do that, and they did so without us even asking! My 9-year old son went to get a waffle and was given this mess (see the picture). He came back to get me, and the cashier simply said their machine was acting up. I was in a big rush and asked for a refund. Apparently, their register was acting up too - it took them 10 minutes to process the refund! What a disaster! No apology, no smile.
