Much to my surprise, this location of the cheese steak Shop is by far, the absolute best around in 50+ miles any direction when it comes to a properly made & appropriately portioned hoagie! I have been solid customer for over 25+ yrs, support all locations, yet I have never seen a presentation, size, and flavor stand up to one another (let alone when you're talking about food) but this location doesn't stop there - they take it over the top of any expectation with their candid, genuine, and welcoming vibe in the most natural and inviting of ways. Whomever does the hiring here is on point for recognizing the desired qualities sought after by any brand or business to represent the front line first point of contact position. When you mix that with people who have clearly been taught right by their own orderly displays from youth, and you get quite a reflection. I also find it important to mention a high mark in regards to the otherwise unmentionable places of any establishment; the bathroom. This is a mixed gender single bathroom. Maximum capacity :50. Actual capacity :1. It is a little funny that they had enough room to do two separate, probably even three four baby care but yet there is one. And might I say, that this bathroom also reflects a standard of attention and uninhibiting vibe far more exceeding that of any million dollar steakhouse one might visit. This place should be a OSHA training center in all honesty with the attention to detail in the bathroom, can easily make the assumption that their food is coming from a place that is exceeding the standard of even the cleanest home restroom. I know that is a fine thing to say about a otherwise public bathroom, however, I challenge anybody to report a alternative experience.. it was truly impeccable and worthy of such mention. I'm a firm believer that a bathroom holds the secret to the standard of attention fir the entire place. Food prep included. When proper skilled management is in play, the execution of cleanliness standards are maintained throughout, and they are not aligned necessarily with the otherwise known as unmentionable experiences we've all had in the best of places where that management May perhaps consider the place we do our business to be that which is equal to the animal Kingdom! ...ladies, you know exactly what that means! You might as well expect the seat to be covered in evidence of aims not so well played, excess dribbling, lil too much round the rim action, and far too many players trying really hard to make their 3pt shot the most memorable of all! There is almost always no open places to find when it comes to the four walls surrounding such a normally executed in whole "peecaso" court... You can almost always count on the court side surroundings if you will to be quite a stunning array of sparkle - just be warned it is not sweat or pretty makeup LOL you guessed it, it is all those missed shots or maybe intentional misses, but the crazy thing is at this location you would never even know the toilet was there to be used as intended. To my greatest moment of being impressed- award don't be surprised if you look up and don't be surprised if you look up on the ceiling and you've got resonated urine dripping stalactites that are sure to Dawn somebody's head or hat at any given moment lol but we've all been there and seen exactly that set up. But not here. Is nasty as it sounds you could have eaten your sandwich off of the sink and probably set your belongings around the edge of the toilet and been entirely fine with covid. And let's talk about the smell. Let's add to that a little weird detail that was somewhat intriguing to me which is the consistency of things down to the very scent of the air freshener system they have in any cheese steak Shop. Talk about being on point and maintaining a customer impression beyond the food very meticulous set of standards when it comes to the cleanliness and regard for Covid related restrictions and/or requirements in a Restaurant or Food Service establishment. match the level of flavor of...
Read moreMy husband and I just left here, first time eating at this establishment. First and foremost, the young man at the register, I believe his name is Taylor, (that is what read on our receipt) was very kind and polite. While he was taking our order, the phone was ringing (please note it was very busy at this time), and it probably rang 3 to 4 times, a female (I’m assuming is the manager) was sitting at a visible (to the public) desk working on a laptop, came over and tells Taylor, “just pick up the phone and say, please hold.” and then she walked away. Taylor said, “excuse me” to us, (like I said he was very kind and respectful) picked up the phone and said, “please hold,” and put the phone down to complete our transaction. We found it quite rude, especially with it being busy, that she would not pick up the phone and answer it to help Taylor out, and it turns out, once Taylor was able to help whomever was on the phone, it was for her. I say “her” because, unfortunately, we did not get her name. While we were waiting, another gentleman was clearly having an issue, and he asked, while she was sitting at her desk, what her name was and she kept stalling for the most part, I think she might have given her first (while sitting at her desk), but I know for a fact she refused to give him her last name. She really was not very nice and didn’t seem to care that it was busy. I found her to be quite rude. The soda machine was flat (the Diet Pepsi) we told Taylor, and he was STILL busy, I know she heard, but did nothing about it. She really didn’t seem to care. Our fries were cold and Taylor immediately took care of this for us. I really don’t have much to say about the cook, except our fries were cold and the new order we got we’re definitely hot, but undercooked.
I understand it’s difficult putting on a smile going to work. But, I’m couldn’t help but get the feeling the three employees did not enjoy their job. I am guessing it has a lot to do with their manager and how she deals the employees and her customers.
I’m not one to complain, I’m a very easy going person, and I just felt that I needed to share...
Read moreWe placed an order over the phone for pick up. Gave instructions what we wanted on all 4 sandwiches and fries, a young fellow was very rude and took our order. Not an inch of customer service in him (DONOVAN). Arrived to pick up our order. DONOVAN greeted with the silent treatment, not even greeting the customers walking in. He was busy chatting with the younger gentlemen preparing the sandwiches. I ask him is the order correct with what we wanted on each sandwich. His reply was Yea, I paid and left. Arrived home and had a feeling that it was not correct, sure enough, they made the sandwich whichever way they felt. Now this will be the third time I have given your establishment an opportunity. ( I have all receipts, pictures, dates and times to match every wrong order. I hope you read this and make some some changes in the way you hire especially being an absentee operator which is going to kill...
