Kinja Sushi — Restaurant in San Ramon

I ordered food to go from my work so I can pick it up on the way home. Order stated it will be ready by 6-30.6.40pm. I got to the restaurant at 6.55pm however, it wasn't ready. They couldn't even find my order. Then they stated they have the order but someone "forgot to press the button" so the order never went through to the chef. Then they proceed to tell me " sorry, it's going to take another 40min - 1 hr or you can cancel the order!" The "sorry' wasn't empathetic, there was no checking with the chef if he can expedite my order and empathize with the situation which was their error. Here parking space is spacious and I found a spot easily. It feels like a new restaurant, the equipment and decoration are very clean. Because of this, the decoration is very distinctive.

I ordered Tinkotsu Ramen $18 The soup base is rich and the texture of the noodles is also very good. It is very interesting to pair with fried Nori . The fried squid was crispy but a bit dry, and I was a little disappointed with the Negihama maki( yellowtail roll ) The vinegar rice was too sour, which overshadowed the deliciousness of the fish itself, and the vinegar rice was also tested harder . First time eating here with my family last night. Wanted to try something new since we always eat at Amakara, but our last two meals there have been questionable.

Upon entering, the interior is cozy and modern. All of the sushi that we ordered was insanely fresh, and I love that they use real crab meat for all of their crab dishes/rolls - It shows that they care about what they’re serving to customers.

Highlights were the Yoda roll, the nigiri assortment, ramen, and they even have spam musubi (on the kids menu - perfect for our littles).
