Moseley's Rooftop Bar ( Sandusky ) — Restaurant in Sandusky

Heading back home from Catawba after a nice weekend with another couple. Looking for a nice bar with a lake view. Saw the ad in the vacation flier. Looked good so stopped. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were intruding. Not very friendly when we asked were the rooftop bar was. Went up an elevator to the 4th floor and there was the rooftop bar complete with a total seating capacity of about 5, and about 4 or 5 tables outside. View was ok if you like to look at what appears to be a strip mining operation. There were 3 younger patrons in the bar . Seemed to be the bartender's friends. Stood there for a few minutes trying to decide if we wanted to hang out there. No welcome, or hello , or "what can I get you guys to drink". Felt like we really didn't belong there. It was just weird. Left without ordering a thing.

Hello from Florida. It was a great time here with my girlfriend as we sat on the rooftop and sipped some tequila. Took in the sites and relaxed. We met a gentleman named Kaz who was very knowledgeable and boasted about the quantity of tequila the bar on the first floor has. I'm a whiskey and bourbon man myself, but allowed Kaz to recommend a tequila, which led to sipping said tequila on the rooftop. It was smooth and delicious. At the end, Kaz recommended a bourbon bar to try out, which we did, and that was an excellent recommendation as well!

What a great location for a bar. The service was top notch. The bartender gave good advice as to what drinks they would recommend as to our taste buds. The bar has a great atmosphere. You should stop by for the Sunday brunch or get some tacos and bring them up to the rooftop deck. It is a great few looking over the lake. They have a great selection of craft beer on hand also. You cannot go wrong with their mixed drink concoctions either. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you are there during the summer...
