Tourists keep this operation in business, if you want to be disappointed, come here!

Sunday 7pm, one large table of 12+ people, another 2 tables of less than 4. All done had their food.

Bar was dirty, we could see one person working. We should have left then, poor judgement on our part.

After 20 mins, our app didn't come out, so we said we are ready to go, the bartender attempted to defend the slow time of the kitchen. Meanwhile those 4 parties are now standing at the bar trying to cash out.

Bartender went back to check on our order while we were finishing our drinks to leave, after being told, "fine, it's on the house", and magically the app was ready. Onion rings, not hot, clearly just sitting in kitchen since the kitchen doesn't run food. Then 3 minutes later bartender brought the mains out, also not hot.

We used to come here regularly in the summers for years, NEVER will we return.

The bartender told us while losing patience the manager and other server that should have been working were at the downstairs bar drinking. The same manager came though when we first walked in, and didn't care to help with anything, made some remark to bartender and walked though with a cigar in his hand.

There is zero logic to remaining open when short on staff.

If the owner wants to save this business he would clean house of EVERYONE. When your restaurant isn't your primary income, you clearly don't care, owner is a doctor, most...

We visited last week while renting a condo about a block from Tony's for a week. We found this place by accident, just strolling thru town. Our son wanted wings and it was the first place with a menu our family of 4 could all agree upon. We came in from the back and up the patio to enter and weren't sure what to put expect. We were impressed with the interior and that it was the first restaurant (4th overall in Sandusky on our trip) with an adequate cooling system. We were all impressed with our choices. My husband had the Greek cheesesteak and loved it. I couldn't decide between the mac & cheese hot dog or the French Dip. Our server JP a suggested the French Dip and I have to say it is one of the best I've ever had. I think their seasoned mayo is what makes their sandwiches! The daughter and I both got the mac and cheese. She said it was the best mac & cheese she's ever had and she's never impressed. If we are ever back in Sandusky, we're definitely...

Good food and cold beer. Brought the family to Sandusky for Cedar Point. While in town, we found this restaurant and bar. When visiting a new city, I firmly believe in going to local establishments, not corporate chains. Tony's is a bar with restaurant quality food. We had a table of four and got different options from the menu. Started with the beer battered onion rings. As you can see, these are not pulled out of a bag and fried. These are fresh cut onions, battered and fried. The wings (buffalo) were perfectly cooked and spicy. Yum! Lastly, we had two hot dogs (sausage and peppers & the Clevelander) and the 'Hangover' BLT. All with their fresh cut fries. The bill, with two sodas, three adult beverages came to $100. A bit of a sticker shock, but you go away satisfied. Even better is walking out the rear and getting amazing views...

This was my wife's and my first visit to Tony's, and we had an enjoyable experience. The food was good 😋, the service was quick (it was a Wednesday evening and there were two other tables occupied when we arrived), and the prices were reasonable. The menu has a decent assortment of apps, sandwiches, and other two-fisted items to shovel into your pie-hole. There are 19 beers on tap, plus a selection of canned and bottled beers to choose from to wash down all the deliciousness you will be consuming. The interior is nicely remodeled and gives off a warm and friendly modern vibe. We were very happy with our visit and will be eating there again. BTW, the cheesesteaks rocked!!!

Mainly a drinking establishment (which I wasn't aware of when I did a google search looking for supper in the area). The food is not very good at all as the pizza was one star, Totino's microwaveable. I was not at all a fan and didn't even eat most of it. I was still hungry, so I decided to give them a second chance, and I got the broccoli cheddar soup. I figured they couldn't mess that up and it was fine. Out of a can, but fine. Go to Tony's- it really is nice inside and the people are not insufferable, if you want a drink. Go elsewhere if you want something to eat.
