• PLEASE READ TO THE END* This was my second visit and it was horrible. upon entering I noticed that gloves were not being changed between preparation and check out. I did make sure the gloves were changed and I know this is were the problem came in. At checkout I was asked to give a 5 star rating for a free drink, that was fine until the owner came and told the cashier "dont give her the drink until she does the review and shows you". I advised them that I would sit there and do the review while I ate my food but who eats without their beverage. At that point I realized that when I asked for her name as the cashier gave me her name to put in the review the owner who acknowledged herself as the owner as I did not ask for this info nastly replied you dont need my name just do the reiew. At that point the customers who were advised to do the same thing were at the table with their drinks and uncompleted reviews with there heads bowed down (white customers) because they saw the wrong that was going down. Now the confusion comes because Im the only brown person who was not given their drink until thy showed the review. everyone else was given time to complete their review. How is there still racism in 2024. The owner is of asian decent the 2 food prep employees of spanish decent ( who by the way apologized for the owners actions) so how do you do that. I was never nasty or rude so to expercience this type of treament in this time is absurd. I ask for a refund and Iwas told that I could not have a refund and the owner came over and said oh you mad because we wont give you this drink its policy, I repied and thats fine but your being rude so I want my money back. I was not refunded my money hence the review being made. I currentlyI recommend that anyone who also sees the wrong in this DO NOT support this business with bad behavior as I will never go to this...

EDIT: You didn't refund ANYTHING, don't worry, I'll dispute it with my bank. Also, way to not address anything else I said. Terrible customer service, but I knew that already.

Waited over 30mins for an order I placed at 7 AM to pick up at 12:30 PM didn't leave until 1:06 PM. They were out of majority of the toppings I wanted needless to say I didn't get them, for example, they ran out of spicy tuna, so they just threw the regular in there with the spicy sauce and forgot the sauce I actually wanted on my poke burrito. The poke burritos were SMALL for the $16 price tag and completely falling apart, we could barely enjoy them. I also didn't receive the avocado I paid an extra $1.75 for. I ordered two ube milk teas, only got one because they ran out of milk. Subpar service, NO sense of urgency, and to top that all off one of the girls behind the counter was coughing and not covering her mouth!!! 🤢 There was no manager to speak to just incompetent young adults. I wasn't able to get a photo as children aren't picky when they are hungry considering I was gone for nearly an hour picking the food up. I wish I read the last review before I came here, I will NEVER come back and if I'm not offered a refund I will dispute it with my bank because the service I received with a lackluster product that cost me almost $50 deserves to...

Cute little new place and decent food, but it needs a little work. The two servers were friendly and doing their best, but they often had to reach across each other or wait for one to move to access ingredients, which slowed service down. Inside was warmer than was totally comfortable and made me a little nervous that the raw fish wouldn't be kept cold enough, though it was fine. I got a salmon bowl which was delicious, and all the toppings seemed fresh. The sauce I got was spicier than I expected, so it would have been helpful to have an indicator next to the sauce names for spiciness.

My main complaint would be the water. There was a dispenser, but it was almost empty and the water was warm. Also, my dad wanted coke, but there was no drink fountain. If we wanted napkins or another utensil we had to ask for it from behind the counter. So a self- service station and drink fountain would be much appreciated.

Finally, the music was too loud. The genre (pop remixes) could also have been chosen to be less intrusive, but it wouldn't have been so intrusive if it were quieter. Overall it's coming along, though obviously still a work in progress. I intend to visit again in a month or so to see if things have improved. I love Poke and I'd love to have a good place to eat...
