Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Sandy

This place is decent most of the time.. but jeeze people need to quit working in the service industry if they can’t simply communicate with customers.

There was a kid named Orrin working tonight and I’ve never received such AWFUL customer service before in my life and I’ve been on this earth for almost 3 decades now. I was notified my order was delivered at around 6pm after the driver “was pulling up” at 5:45(notified via text). So I simply call the store after it says “delivered” to see where they delivered it(my address is commonly hard to find so I understand it happens, I wasn’t even upset about it until speaking with this kid) so he states that it says delivered.. so I communicate that it wasn’t delivered to my address, is it ask if there is a way to contact the driver to see where she delivered it or if she needs help finding my address. The dude is SO rude and says “I have no was to contact her so what do you want me to do?” Well bro.. I just want my food so I ask “how long would it take to deliver a new order?” He says well once she gets back at least 30 more minutes.. so it’d take over 3 hours to get my two medium pizzas and breadsticks all while living less than 5-6 mins away.. So I ask to pick it up and he acted like I was the issue all because I asked to pick it up instead(I have to hangry toddlers attacking me at this point). I did pick it up but he was a complete jerk! If he still works at this store after this interaction I will never be ordering from here again. What a complete jerk all over a simple miscommunication.

Also my pizzas look like garbage and they couldn’t even put cheese on the entire thing. I ended up getting both orders since she still delivered it somehow.. so it was completely on this Orrin guy. If he simply contacted his driver all of this would’ve been...

This store is very unprofessional. We ordered our food for delivery tonight and for the first time ever the driver got lost in our neighborhood. We were even standing out in the driveway with flashlights trying to flag him down, but this isn’t even the part that caused me to write this review. What lead to this review is the fact I tried calling the store to see if they could have the driver call me so I could either meet him or give him better directions. Well, each time I would call they would pick up the phone and immediately hand it back up. The last two times I tried to call they picked up the phone and just left it off the hook, you could hear the noise in the background. I have never encountered anything like this before and am actually kind of flabbergasted by it. I will most definitely never be getting pizza from this...

I have typically ordered delivery from this location in the past pretty consistently on rather busy nights for my family. I called in to order tonight because my kids school gave out gift certificates for a specialty pizza as part of their back to school promotion. While on the phone attempting to order, the worker on the other line was very short and rude before they even heard my full request. While trying to explain that part of the request was for a specialty pizza to redeem the gift certificate for, the worker’s tone became even more short and clearly irritated. While I understand being short staffed and overwhelmed, there is also an appropriate tone and a manner in which to speak to your customers. I also don’t recommend providing certificates for a free pizza or item if you don’t want customers...
