I was selling my house with Amy Hardy when I moved out of state. I was led to believe it would be an easy sell, but after several months I was forced to go through Zillow. I ended up paying way more commission since Zillow doesn't expect you to have a real estate agent, but I was contractually obligated to pay them even though she effectively did nothing to sell my home. A conservative estimate is that I lost around $20,000 by choosing this company, but actual loses are likely much higher given I had to pay for ridiculous repairs. Again, they did absolutely nothing to close the sale but still forced me to pay a 2% commission when I was already paying Zillow much more than that.
