Heavenly Almond Croissant Experience!

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the most heavenly almond croissant at Lone Pine Bakery, and I cannot stop raving about it! From the moment I took my first bite, it was pure bliss.

The croissant was perfectly baked to perfection, with its golden, flaky exterior that gave way to a soft and buttery interior. The almond filling was absolutely divine, with a rich and creamy texture that melted in my mouth. Every bite was a delightful symphony of flavors, blending the subtle sweetness of the almond with the delicate layers of the croissant.

Not only was the taste exceptional, but the presentation of the croissant was also exquisite. It was beautifully dusted with powdered sugar, adding an elegant touch to its already enticing appearance.

The service at Lone Pine Bakery was outstanding as well. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their products. Their passion for baking was evident in the quality of the croissant and the overall experience.

I cannot recommend Lone Pine Bakery enough for their incredible almond croissant. Whether you're a croissant enthusiast or simply looking for a delightful treat to brighten your day, this bakery is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you, Lone Pine Bakery, for creating such a memorable and delicious experience. I will definitely be returning for more culinary...

DON'T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR EVENT! Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered cupcakes for an event, I asked if they could meet the date and what I needed and what flavors they could do. After the receptionist confirmed that she could get the two flavors I wanted which were Funfetti and Oreo, I placed the order. I show up the day of the event to pick up the order and take it to the event and the oreo were chocolate NOT Oreo. Rather than being apologetic or concerned in any way the response from the lady was, "you don't have to take them if you don't want them", treating me as though I lied about what I wanted, not even offering to correct it in any way. What interest would I have in screwing up my own order? Being that my event was far too close I took the overpriced cupcakes, regardless of my level of frustration. I did have a ten-year-old cupcake Enthusiast express his delight in the fact that they use real frosting, in my opinion it was way too buttery. Also a huge disappointment the PLASTIC packaging was so flimsy I spilled half-a-dozen on my seat on my way up to the event and ended up picking up a supermarket half dozen anyway, way cheaper and nobody could tell the difference....

Order at your own risk! We ordered a custom cake for our daughter‘s seventh birthday party. We placed the order two weeks in advance went in and spoke to the cake decorator followed up twice in person and twice via email. On the morning of our daughter‘s birthday party, two hours before the party started, I called the bakery to see when to pick the cake up. When I spoke to the lady who took my original order her exact words were “ooops I completely forgot about that cake; we didn’t do it. I’m sorry that really sucks”. She made absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation. All she said was that she was sorry and it really sucked that we didn’t have a cake. I tell you this now as my husband and I had to scramble to go to Smith’s and purchase a plain sheet cake so that our daughter would have birthday cake. Please visit and order at your own risk. Not only will we never return, but we will make sure that everyone in this area knows how we were treated and how flippantly she behaved. Obviously this was supposed to be a special day for my daughter with the birthday cake capping off the theme. Needless to say our daughter was disappointed and we were completely disrespected and...

Based off of experience and quality. Unfortunately after a 20 minute drive home the frosting fell off the sides of the cake. The cake had been sitting out near the window on a 100 degree day in the bakery. Picked up the cake right before closing. Since I looked at the cake before I left the bakery, why look at it when I got home. Immediately placed in the fridge. (Saturday) Brought the cake in for a party and realized what happened. Here's a picture of me trying to fix it. Both sides had this issue of the inside being exposed. If you look you can also see the middle of the cake drooping. (Monday business closed and I tried calling) When I called in about the issue to see how we could make it right. I was treated as if I was lying because she wouldn't believe that could happen. She said I should've checked the cake when I got home. That I should've called after hours Saturday knowing that someone was there. Said I put her in a compromising position. (Tuesday) If the company had taken responsibility instead of deflecting this review would not of been posted. All in all the cake does not travel well and it was an unprofessional interaction.

I’m glad to have another bakery option in Sandy that’s not a chain donut store. I visited here after a friend gave me one of Lone Pine’s tasty almond croissants. I was acknowledged right as I walked in then left to ponder my choices for a bit. After some suggestions by the woman helping me, I bought a raspberry danish and Nutella croissant which were as equally delectable as the almond croissant. Every morsel had the perfect ratio of filling to dough which wasn’t cloyingly sweet. The pastry was perfectly flaky and buttery without it being greasy. This bakery also had other sweet and savory offerings that appealed to me. I had to restrain my inner glutton to not buy all I wanted. For those expecting an equivalent to other bakeries that serve a multitude of drinks, eliminate those expectations. Beverages are limited so don’t expect to get a fancy schmancy coffee to go along with your pastry. However, their croissants are enough to keep me coming back like a puppy with their favorite chew toy.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect cinnamon roll all across the SLC valley, and Lone Pine Bakery absolutely delivers! Their cinnamon rolls are to die for—so fresh, gooey, and flavorful. Easily the best I’ve found! I also picked up an Easter egg sugar cookie, and it was unbelievably soft—basically melted in my mouth. Everything tasted freshly baked, even though I went in around noon. The staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend giving this tasty little bakery a try—you won’t regret it!
