McDonald's — Restaurant in Sandy

Literally the worst group of people working here. They always mess up orders and when I bring the food back they always find a way to make it my fault. For example, I live in sandy, but by the time I get home and come back to the store after I discover something is wrong, the food is cold and the fries are stale. I ordered two Big Mac meals and two Mc chickens tonight. Got home and found out that the Mc chickens weren’t in the bag. Not sure why I didn’t check because this seems to happen every time that I order from here. I drive back immediately, but forgot my food at home. I asked that they remake the whole order because my food will be cold by the time that I get to eat it. They said no because they made the rest of the order correctly and that it’s my fault that I left the bag at home. So I offered to go get it. Then they said that they can’t take the food back because of COVID. Sounds like they are coming up with any excuse they can. So, I ask to speak to a manager about the problem. The manager proceeds to tell me that he is being “nice” for giving me the Mc chickens that I already paid for because I didn’t call ahead about the issue and it had been a while since the food got ordered. Let me remind you that I live close and drove straight home and straight back. How could I have moved any faster? During all of this they were very rude and not apologetic at all. Treated me like I was the employee that messed up the order instead of being a customer. What ever happened to the customer is always right. The world is going down hill. Idk how this place always has Luke warm fries. I don't go to McDonald's for the burgers, I come for the fries and this places fries are gross. I wish there was another McDonald's around we could go to instead.

Edited to add, tonight, they were extremely rude, made me pay more money than I was expecting to (they rang it up how they wanted instead of leaving off the patty that was asked to be left off.) I wasn't asking for a cheaper price, just wanted the extra patty left off, normally I'm told that it's fine after confirming what I asked for. I know how expensive bacon is and know it's cheaper to ask for something to be left off than to add something to it. I even told them that I'd still take the mcdouble, told my cousin my husband would just throw away the extra patty, but they still rang it how they wanted, instead of just giving me the mcdouble as a mcdouble after they said it wasn't ok and I was confused as to how. My cousin told me to get my husband a fry and I told her that's why I ordered a large, so we could split it, while still at the com where they could hear. But instead, I got a med sized worth of fries, even though I paid for a large. I gave them all to my husband (he hasn't been eating much and fries are something easy to eat.) 3 meals and 2 burgers were all put into 1 bag, we couldn't close the bag to try and keep the lukewarm fries at least lukewarm and not cold by the time we got home. I still stand firmly on wishing there was another McDonald's closer than in Gresham, this place would lose business so fast as long as the other place had warm fries and staff...

WOW. I understand McDonald’s is an American staple but to be harassed and mocked like I was today at the McDonalds in Sandy by the female manager I will never return… I ordered a kids meal and 2 burgers and a soda and when they handed me the food in the drive thru lane all I got was the happy meal and they shut the window, so I pulled right around and went in directly with my receipt at the front. It’s an honest easy mistake like hey can I have the rest of my food please I only got a happy meal box. She takes the receipt, looks at me and said you got all your food, I replied no I didn’t look at the cameras I only got a happy email box and it clearly says I paid here for it. Check your cameras! like lady can I please just have my food? I said miss manager can I please just have my food I paid for and she straightens back and then SCREAMS like screeching get out get out get out!

No McDonald’s is worth that kind Of crazy let alone from a manage over getting my Coca Cola and a burger... like couldn’t she just have checked the camera and seen someone on her team made a mistake?
