Just came from the drive thru, excellent service as always. I've been a customer for 10+ yrs & rarely have an issue. Anytime there is an issue, they always take careofit & go above & beyond to make sure you're satisfiedwith the outcome. Woody is actually what made me leave this review so please, Starbucks & his manager please give him some recognition & I recommend taking a few notes as he knows customer service.
When I think customer service, I always picture a corporate employee on the other end working off scripts. I managed a call center for almost a decade, luckily I was able to escape the corporation environment but I'm more versed than most.
With cust serv.- I pay a little more attention than most & notice small details. I ordered a simple Carmel Macchiato, paid, got my coffee, tipped, forgot a stopper, got one & I was gone. His intro was what caught my attention. Not forced, fast, attitude, none of that. Calm, confident tone not forced at all & what's more is the conversation feel rather than the "can I take your order?" Feel.
This was an actual human experience without any of that corporate feel. That's usually the type of service I receive in the drive thru so its nice to have a conversation with a person rather than feeling like you may as well be speaking to a robot.
It may seem suspect with this long review, I assure all that it's legit & genuine. I'm alwaysin that drive thru, the bald Guy in the black Benz. I feel credit needs to be given for people in ordinary roles that you can tell are extraordinary & will be very successful. They are the Diamonds in the Rough. Starbucks had better start promoting him; He's going to go very far, whichever path he chooses.
Too often people like Woody that go well beyond their duties, go unrecognized. We get our coffee and go about our days. I usually do as well, which made me leave this review.
I hope this feedback reaches those @ Starbucks, and @ the Sandy- Quarry Bend...
Read moreGirl asked me to hold on for a couple of minutes while I was in the drive thru. No problem. A male employee came back on a couple minutes later and asked me what I would like. I ordered a grande Pink Drink. The male employee then tried to upsell breakfast items. I said no thank you. Then without gving me a chance to place the rest of my order, he then tried to upsell me a bottle of water. I said no thank you again. He then very quickly said my total and then disconnected. I don't mind upselling whatsoever but please let me order fully as I was getting two drinks.
I said "hang on I'm not done ordering yet." Nothing. Say "hello"? Nothing. I then say hello a couple more times and he come back saying "I can't tell if you're on your phone or talking to me". I state I am trying to place the rest of my order. He then says "well you stopped talking" in a snotty voice. At this point I was fed up with the lack of politeness. Even if I had blatantly screwed up the ordering process, be nice! The other Starbucks I visit 3 times a week has no issues. I stated I didn't understand why he was being so rude. He then replied again in a snotty tone "I'm not being rude". No apology, no smoothing things over. I ended up just leaving the drive thru and will be going to a different location. I love my coffee but not enough to purchase it from some...
Read morebetween me and my other half we literally stop at a starbucks every morning before work. We both order the same drinks, and most of the time they are always correct at other Starbucks..not this location. 9 times out of 10 they mess up one of our drinks. We have been here probably 30 times in the past 60-90 days, and that is our track record.. I tried to find a place I can direct message a manager about this because its excessive, but I can't find anything so Im posting here. I LOVE starbucks, and am very loyal, but today put me over the edge. Im just going to start stopping at a different location form now on. Staff is hit or miss on friendly people, and I always am nice about returning drinks. I feel judged now for retuning my drinks when they are not made correctly, so I have thrown my last 2-3 away when they are made badly. Don't get me wrong, they have done it correct when I come back in, and have gotten it right the first time with the afternoon staff. The morning staff is who we have noticed making the mistakes. We order very berry hibiscus, and Green tea lemonade for reference..Pretty easy not complicated orders. Usually its the green tea comes out without...
