Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Sanford

By far the nicest, best appearance, most generous place in the ENTIRE TOWN. I cannot explain to you how amazing the staff here is from the second you walk in the door (employee that was coming in to work the same time as we were walking in, made it a point to get in front of us to open the door and hold it open for two people). This town does not deserve a place like this. I know Smithfield's is known for great customer service, but this particular one is outstanding. I am in awe. You could tell the morale of this place is extremely positive and even the people in the back are conscious that they are seen and have a smile on their face. Whoever does the hiring and training needs to train every other employee in every restaurant (even sit-down) in this town. I feel bad that such an amazing staff is dealing with the rude people in this town. I promise I am not exaggerating, nor do I know a single staff member that works there. This is a completely honest review and I cannot recall a time I was more shocked or pleased with the service I received in an establishment. Go there...

Well not sure where to start, first off ,we ordered a chicken platter for 10.99 and told the employee we only want a chicken,platter employee keep saying combo platter,and we said no twice,or three times,atill employee finally said ok chicken platter,well we got a combo platter,!!! Which was 3 dollar more !! Second we asked for a coke got a tea,!?? And had to pay upcharge for coke ,chicken sandwich combo is advertisined 8.99 got charged 10.99. !? Third fries were half cooked and cold, Fourth we called at 8;55pm to tell them the issues,no one answered of courseon there website they don't close till 10pm Only gave a one rating here because they don't have a option here for a minus zero rating Ticket number 285 Time 801 pm

I'll be honest-- this visit started off bad as it seemed as if the drive thru attendant had an attitude over the fact that I wanted chicken and BBQ, which they didn't have because they were closing in 10 minutes. By the time we made it to window, she was much more polite and considerate, and offered what was left and available at the last minute. I actually worked at this very location as a teenager, and not only do I understand the fact that as a teenager you could care less about the job itself, and that the grills are cleaned near closing time...although I really wanted chicken and BBQ, I understood. The staff did offer to make some, but I declined as it wasn't necessary and I know how difficult that grill is to clean. They gave my daughter's cookies--- which made this trip pretty fantastic! If you make my kids happy, then I'm happy, and for that you deserve a 5...
