The Island Cow — Restaurant in Sanibel

Cheap beer, good food and great service! Entree prices are a little on the high side but the portions and food quality help make up for it. It has a nice island shack vibe but unfortunately there is not much a view in the outdoor seating area. There was live music while I was there that was excellent and I appreciated that it wasn't overwhelmingly loud since we were sitting right in front of it. My wife and I went for lunch and were pleased with what we ordered. She had the raw oysters and a Ceasars salad and I had the fried chicken sandwich that was a special at the time. I would like to go back and try the breakfast some time soon since that's what we intend to go there for but...

Wow! Let’s just say this was a step up from yesterday! Me and the hubby decided to go out for a dinner date tonight. And when I say I am so impressed, I mean it. We started off with some muffins. I loved how the pillowy inside contrasted the crusty crust. Right after the tasty muffins we decide to get some banana daiquiris YUMMY. Then we got some chicken tenders (because we were feeling adventurous). The fries were perfectly cooked, and the chicken was perfectly bland. To end the date off we had a little bit of ice cream, the only complaint I had was that the chocolate sauce was a little bit to spicy for me. 10/10...

Love their food! Only issue is the first night we went there, they said it would be a 30-45 min wait, ended up being 1hr 10min wait. But once we were seated the wait staff was very nice and the food came out quickly. Next time we ordered take out which was right on time. Third time we were seated right on time so over all very good. They have an amazing menu with all sorts of good food. Very large portions (take home for lunch!). We had the fajitas which were quite good. I also had the bacon wrapped shrimp which was very good and my 12 year old had a burger and the next time chicken tenders. ...
