Subway — Restaurant in Santa Ana

Focusing on the food quality and sustainable practices, and as a long-time customer of this subway, Subway takes its practices to the next level compared to other fast-foods but it is obvious that the sustainability methods have to be correlated with lower costs. For example, you could be given napkins that were made with recycled material (you can't get it yourself by the way), but they would only be 1 to 2 pieces. The high tech and low energy cost make it an ideal place for sustainability though. HOWEVER, my biggest issues is that they still give plastic bags as a method to carry their products. Regarding the food quality it's what you would expect from every fast food restaurant and has its bad days. It was very obvious that the eat fresh motto was highly misleading and it does taste like food that qualified just enough to be served pretty cheaply. I had a footlong flatbread with turkey breast, lettuce, American cheese, onions, mayo and chipotle southwest and in all honesty? It was better than a standard cold cut sandwich I would make at home. I wish i had read the reviews before I visited this place. After 20 minutes of thinking of places we could have dinner we decided to get subway. Worst mistake!!!! I feel so bad for the employees that work here. There are some nice people here and had it not been for Alma I would of ran out of this place. And that is the only reason Im leaving a 1 star review (besides the fact that I can't leave a 0). No chicken for chicken ceaser sandwich. Tomatoes horrible!!!! And work stations dirty. I love subway but this location if by far is the worst Ive ever been to. Hopefully other people take the time to see the reviews on this location. Please save your time, money and a bad moment. Placed my order of tuna on flatbread she doesnt give me my full tuna amount and then she cant cut on the dotted line to make it evenly cut. Couldn't pay attention to the toppings I asked for, and I went slow too. I ask for sauce on the side and she only fills it halfway. I ask her to fill it all the way and she ignores me. Then at checkout she charges me more than what I'm getting. I try to tell her but she cant even understand me. Then someone who does speak English comes out from the back and I tell her but she says that's how it is.really? Illegally charging people for stuff they didnt get is just what you do?
