Focusing on the food quality and sustainable practices, and as a long-time customer of this subway, Subway takes its practices to the next level compared to other fast-foods but it is obvious that the sustainability methods have to be correlated with lower costs. For example, you could be given napkins that were made with recycled material (you can't get it yourself by the way), but they would only be 1 to 2 pieces. The high tech and low energy cost make it an ideal place for sustainability though. HOWEVER, my biggest issues is that they still give plastic bags as a method to carry their products. Regarding the food quality it's what you would expect from every fast food restaurant and has its bad days. It was very obvious that the eat fresh motto was highly misleading and it does taste like food that qualified just enough to be served pretty cheaply. I feel so bad for the employees that work here. There are some nice people here and had it not been for Alma I would of ran out of this place. And that is the only reason Im leaving a 1 star review (besides the fact that I can't leave a 0). No chicken for chicken ceaser sandwich. Tomatoes horrible!!!! And work stations dirty.
