Very beautiful place. There are some pretty benches shaped like whale fins and a memorial for those lost at sea. It’s a pretty walk here, but you might get spayed with sea water if the waves are tall. I find this place very peaceful and it might just be my favorite spot in Santa Barbara to hang out.

Beautiful harbor walk. We did go on the day when there was a hurricane & a 5.1 earthquake but, it was fun to not get splashed by the waves hitting the wall. Bring a jacket because you will get wet! I recommend if you're not afraid to walk next to the ocean water.

This is a really nice walk after eating at brophy Brothers. Walking alongside the ocean and then down into the harbor is really cool. lots of boats to see in the harbor as well as a ton of other birds like pelicans and sandpipers.

We came here on a whim. It was a bright clear late spring day. Good 10 knots of wind. All the flags were waving happily. Kite surfers were gliding over the bay. Beautiful boats rocking on the tide in thier births. West Marine was open, as we walked by. The Yacht club was not yet open due to CV 19.

We plan on coming back soon. Why not walk this walk too, who knows what great time you can share.

I have never heard anyone CALL this Point Castillo, but it's a great place to get a view of the harbor and the mountains, watch the waves, boats, and surfers, get a little spray from the waves at high tide. Stop at any of the restaurants at the harbor on your way to or from the point. Sit on the dolphin benches at the point. Welcome to...
