We recently ordered takeout from the Fremont Kabob Restaurant and were blown away by the quality of the food. We ordered the lamb korma, which was absolutely amazing. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the korma sauce was rich and flavorful. We also ordered the chicken curry, which was also delicious and packed with flavor.
Despite being takeout, the food arrived hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the care that was put into preparing it, even for takeout orders.
In addition to the fantastic food, we were also impressed by the excellent service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they made sure that our order was prepared to our specifications.
Although we weren't able to dine in the restaurant, we could still sense the cozy and inviting atmosphere even from our takeout containers. We look forward to returning to dine in-person in the future.
Overall, we highly recommend the Fremont Kabob Restaurant for their delicious food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere, whether you're dining in or ordering takeout. Don't miss out on their...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic Afghan flavors in the heart of Santa Clara, Fremont Kabob is a must-visit! We ordered a delicious spread that included Bolani, Hummus, and Salad — all incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor.
For our mains, we had the Veggie Korma-e-Nakhud, Veggie Borani Badinjon, Korma Chicken, Lamb Curry, and the Family-Style Kabob Plate. Every dish was freshly cooked and had that distinct smoked BBQ flavor that took the experience to the next level.
The owner was exceptionally friendly, personally checking in to ensure everything was to our liking. He took time to ask about my dietary needs and was very careful and considerate about my allergies — that kind of attention means a lot.
The restaurant is clean, spacious, and located in a safe and easily accessible area right off Great America Parkway. Whether you're vegetarian, a meat lover, or simply a foodie looking for something memorable, this place is...
Read moreWe recently dined at this restaurant and, unfortunately, our experience was below expectations. We started with the mantu as an appetizer, but the yogurt and tomato topping was overly sour, and the dumplings themselves lacked flavor.
For the main course, we ordered qubli pulao, sultani kabab, and eggplant curry. The sultani kabab combo included chapli, chopan, and shami kabob—of which only the shami kabob was decent. The other two were so salty that it was hard to enjoy them. The eggplant curry was just average, nothing memorable. The qubli pulao was the best among the dishes, but we’ve had better at other Afghan restaurants.
Service was minimal, with little engagement from the staff. The atmosphere felt very basic, suggesting this location might be more focused on takeout than dine-in. Overall, the food quality and dining experience didn’t meet our...
