House of Bagels — Restaurant in Santa Clara

This place is way overpriced for what it is. My Honesty comes 1st, fairness comes 2nd, pity comes in 3rd in my book. Iv'e been coming here for 3 years and get the same somber scowl look every time I walk in, EVERY TIME - this place is not very good.

I know what you will say: "he's entitled." Entitled to what? service? friendliness? respect?

The bottom line is I do not care whether you charge a million or penny for a bagel. Your competitive advantage is everything you do not provide while you always raise the prices. I'm not gonna pity you in this review or any other: I will be honest and fair in what I say, and I have been honest and fair. PERIOD.

If you like bagels, check this place out. It's a small, cozy feeling place. Typically there's always a small wait while in line but it's never more than a few minutes. The variety of bagels is amazing, nearing 20 different types. The prices are middle ground. Also, there's a decent variety of donuts, premade salads, and other breakfast foods. There's a few refrigerators with different drinks. In the fridge I noticed in-house made cream cheese, of various flavors. Since I discovered this place I've been going every Sunday morning.

This is the perfect spot if you are trying to have the worst experience of your life. I traveled 10 miles to go with my husband for breakfast and asked for a turkey on everything seeds bagel. The turkey did not look like turkey it looked like ham, the bagel had plenty of seeds but was extremely salty because it has chunks of salts. The bread gave me blisters and scratched all my mouth because it was not even possible to bite or chew it.I asked the person if they could do something about the sandwich that it was not the turkey I wanted and it was too salty they did not want...
