My family & I came here on MOTHER’S DAY for a nice lunch with my wife & parents & our dog. This place has a dog menu so that’s why we made a choice to come here out of the thousands of nicer restaurants in Carmel. This is a place that’s advertised as dog friendly. The sweetest people were ONLY the lady who checked us in & the kind waiter who brought us water. Although once we got our order taken by Oceane S. it was horrible. Everyone place their order & I POINTED TO THE DOG MENU to order my pup their “BurGerrr Patty” she was the only person that took our order & wrote nothing down btw I was hoping she’d have wonderful memory cause she forgot our pup’s order. So I kindly reminded her the first time, 10 minutes pass & by nothing. At this point we’re all done eating & we were disappointed our pup didn’t get to enjoy his meal with us. So then again I reminded her a second time & she says “oh I didn’t remember” by this point I was extremely utterly frustrated. She ended up giving us the patty for free cause she admitted she “forgot” which was the LEAST she can do. So if you want a meal with your pup think of ordering to go & hope they remember your dogs order. TWICE. So disappointed this was our first time here & never in hell am I coming here again. The food was good I give it to the chef. However the service & ambiance was the worst service I have ever received in my entire life. Not to top that off she gave my wife attitude when all we had was a question about their menu. It was never stated when I made RESERVATIONS 2 WEEKS AHEAD that for this specific day there would be a set menu. For prepared restaurants that I’ve been to in the past reach out to you & let you know there’s a set menu for that day so you can decide if you would like what they are ONLY SERVING FOR THAT DAY. If you’d like to know that restaurant is Grand View in San Jose. They let people know they have a set menu when you make a reservations so if there’s any food allergies, or someone is vegetarian or vegan they can decide not to come here. We had a question about an item we thought they had on their menu she said “oh don’t worry we don’t have it so you’re not missing out” I’m not sure how anyone else who’s reading this would take it but I’m sure you should come up with a better response to paying customers. Again Oceane S. needs training on her...
Read moreKinda frustrating. I came to their food truck for lunch today. I asked for the steak sandwich which said it came with fries on the menu for $12 total. The student ringing me up told me the fries were separate and I saw his teacher question him “Are you sure?”. The teacher left afterwards and the student told me fries are $3 more. I told him that’s not what the menu says and he should double-check with his teacher. He said no, I checked in with him, the fries are separate, it’ll be $3 more. So I just coughed up the extra cash to receive my food…
… A plate of steak sandwiches with fries and then an extra order of fries on the side. They L I T E R A L L Y had a demo plate of the steak sandwich order with fries on the same plate.
I like supporting projects like this where students have hands-on experience and the food is decent for the price but you need to know your menu and prices. Fumbling people’s orders and money will lose customers no matter how good the food, especially in...
Read moreVery excellent opportunities both for trainees and customers. I had an impression that college might have students to cook by handmade, from cutting vegetable to salad dressing. Served dishes are very delicious, enforcing my belief that handmade product cannot be compared with mass product in majority of restaurants in South Bay Area. Photos show dishes served for two weeks between February 25th...
